Peele's unnamed flight attendant is a popular recurring character and probably the one most directly pulled from real life. He is every petty little man who fully abuses the tiny bit of power he has over others purely for his own amusement.
Hahaahahaha these dudes are SO GENIUS! Did anyone else notice the Rabbi is the same dude from the Job Interview skit and still staring at whatever he’s reading without paying attention. 🤣🤣🤣 It’s the subtle stuff that made this show what it was. I just noticed that and it’s killing me that they even thought of that. #BRILLIANT
I'm with Daz, it doesn't matter when I'm supposed to board I always wait til the very end. Every now and then there's an open isle seat you can take and the stewardess just doesn't give a shit at that point if you're last and let's you take it
There’s actually a great story from Tom Segura about how he saw someone put their bag in the first class overhead and walk to the back of the plane, so he just took the guys bag out and tossed it onto the floor in economy and a stewardess just looked at him and he shrugged 😂
I have a job that requires traveling, and for the past year and half it's been such a nice break not having to board a plane. But now that traveling is opening back up for work, I absolutely dread the fact that I'll be doing this again starting at the end of the month.
Bill Burr also has a bit about how he boards last and it drives him insane cause he work his whole life to get to first class and now this happens. Its on Conan I think
Southwest is the best airline in the US (in terms of value, and the bags you can bring for free). They do first come first serve seating. You don't want the last boarding spot.
I literally thought it was the same thing. Burr's bit is very similar. It's not like he stole it or anything, it's a premise I'm sure many comedians have thought of because they're constantly in airports during tours.
You are spot on about the stand-up routine. Bill Burr had this exact bit on Conan. I mean, almost to the letter. It's unreal. Worth reacting to it, it's called 'Bill Burr's issues with the airline boarding process.'
Lol. LAX? Try Denver or Charlotte which are major layover hubs. Everyone in LAX is coming to LA or leaving LA. It's the transfer hubs that are a fkin nightmare. Hell, even Dulles in DC is a pain in the ass and it isn't even that big. Dulles is so stressful it actually still has smoking rooms. 😂
I hate when people store their luggage at the front while walking in. If you're seated at the front and there's not enough space left you then have to store your stuff at the back, which means walking against traffic when the plane lands to get it.
That crashed plane set is always there at universal studios Hollywood. You can go drive through there in the tram ride. It was the same set used in scary movie and war of the worlds
I work in a airport and this has me in tears …people be mam when the wrong luggage gets taken like I almost seen a fight they should do a skit over that 😂😂😂
You say the stuff about being in the airport, I think it's a British thing, when I moved to Canada, everyone was waiting at the front, rushing around trying to get on the plane, but myself and some other Brits were just sat down with our bags watching the drama.
Gawwwd! This is soooo true!!! Should only board from the rear forward...period...end!!! About the overhead storage... when you're among the last on some greedy self-entitled space hog has put their obvious overload of crap not only above them but also above YOUR seat, so even IF an attendant can find any space it's rows of seats away from you where it's much less convenient during and after flight to get to if you need access for any reason. Annoying!
So every time they cut back to Jordan Peele is that when the new group of people are added to the back of the crowd? Are they waiting off camera and then someone says "Go, go, go"? lol.
Never understood people that want to get on a plane first. Yeah. "I want to sit in this hot cramped seat 2 hours longer than I need too! Woooo!". Let me on last second. Like the wheels are off the ground and I'm being launched into my seat. Nice.
I've never understood people's desire to get on the plane so early, when it's the most annoying time to board a plane, and their frustration at having to wait. Do they really prefer waiting in the crowded aisle for dozens of people to put their shit away, eventually sit down, only to have to stand back up again, sometimes multiple times, as other people climb into your row? They give several updates at the terminal, so you might as well just sit comfortably, read a book, grab a snack, or spend more time with your family. I prefer to minimize the annoying, claustrophobic, and discomfort-creating pressure to get my items in the overhead storage by delaying it as long as possible. I truly don't understand it.
I’d rather get on first to get myself enough over head baggage space. And also most flight attendants won’t let you put your bags over head unless you show your ticket in business
Regarding putting your bag in first class when you're in economy.....don't get on the plane with Tom Segura. He saw someone do that and took their bag out and threw it lol.
