2nd guy he makes a joke with portrays Richard Jewell in the film of the same name, as a security guard, and also one of the thieves in Cruella. Great actor, doesn't get enough recognition

Guessing as an audience member, the only way out of that is by being so savage that you make yourself the punchline in a sly way. Throw such rapid-fire sadism that the audience has no time to judge, and just has to roll with it. Then start bragging about what a monster you are, like Anthony Jeselnik does.

Key & Peele are some of the smartest comedians around... and great artists in general, so much talent. You do know that Peele won an Oscar for Best Screenplay for "Get Out" (which he both wrote and directed) in 2018, the first Black writer to do so. Key is also a very accomplished actor. This explains the high quality of their storytelling and production, they are both very competent, not just funny.
