The brilliant Mikko Hyppönen, CRO at WithSecure, wows the audience with another compelling SPHERE keynote. This time, he leaves them with an incredibly unusual - and catchy - song!
He says that we thought it was humans that make art, and now the computers are making art. Well that’s not really so is it? Can you see how? The computers are just using already invented tunes invented by humans, and simply sampling them. Not to understate the complexity, and marvelousness of this random sampling in a recognizable format, but the computer didn’t really create the music, but it did create the composition. Impressive, but not quite creating art. This is simply sampling created art, and calling it creation like rap artists have been doing for decades. It was a fake then, and it’s a fake now.
