Keynote speech: Philippe Lamberts, POLICY & VALUES Conference 

On November 16-17 in 2023, we organized the 'Policy and Values' Conference in Warsaw, during which we gathered all the key issues that our Association addresses. We subjected these issues to various aspects of panel discussions.

🎙️We are started the second day of the conference with a keynote by Philippe Lamberts Co-President of Greens/EFA in the European Parliament, Member of the European Parliament 🇪🇺🌿
🌐 Philippe Lamberts - Belgian politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament during the VII, VIII, and IX terms. Educated as an engineer, he completed his studies at the Catholic University of Leuven in 1986. He worked as a manager at IBM from 1987. From 1996 to 2004, he served as a councilor in Anderlecht. Between 1999 and 2003, he held the position of advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Isabelle Durant on international relations and security. Philippe Lamberts is a Catholic and actively participates in the Taizé community gatherings. He is a member of the French-speaking Green Party Ecolo. From 2006 to 2012, he was the spokesperson for the European Green Party (initially sharing the role with Ulrike Lunacek, and from October 2009, with Monika Frassoni). In the 2009 elections, he obtained a seat in the European Parliament during the VII term. In the EP, he became a member of the Committee on Industry, Research, and Energy, as well as the Greens/EFA in the European Parliament. In 2014, he successfully ran for re-election and became the co-president of the Green group in the VIII term of the EP (initially with Rebecca Harms and later with Ska Keller). In 2019, he retained his seat as a Member of the European Parliament for the IX term, continuing as co-president of the Green group.
