The sad thing about being a restaurant worker is sometimes telling folks that you’re out of their favorite item is all the motive a mad man needs to let loose.
This reminds me of the time when popeyes chicken sandwich came out and was brand new and everyone was dieing to try it. Until someome actually died for skipping the line in the restaurant and someone felt some kinda way and it went out into the parking lot and one of the two got stabbed to death. Resulting in the killer arrested for life and the victim dead so neither got to ever try the sandwich
I hate it when criminals are caught and claim to be innocent. They've been caught and the evidence backs it up and they're never coming out. Why not give the grieving families closure and just tell the truth?
They’re hoping they’ll get out one day if the keep saying they’re innocent. Some guilty people really think that they’ll be let free if they keep up the act.
@@terrainegrace17 some people actually delude themselves into thinking they didn't do. Mostly brought on from trauma orr sudden realisation of what they've done which leads them to denial and shifting the blame onto someone else.
Do you think killers care about the victim’s family’s feelings? If you admit it looks worse on you and the family won’t hate you less because you admitted
Working at a restaurant.. you literally never know who you're dealing with.. My family's restuarant had a columbian drug dealer get executed mid-dinner in the 90s only a few years after they opened...
My oldest sister was the manager of this KFC,but was not on duty that night because the manager on duty wanted to trade shifts with her that night. She knew every person killed that night, and trained all but one. Soon after, she decided that 'this job just isn't worth it anymore'?
Most people when stretching their videos to 10 minutes fill it with nonsense. Info graphics on the other hand fills it with interesting information. Thank you for that
I worked in Kilgore oilfield and heard about this story. By the way, Kilgore and the oilfield area is a dense pine forest where you can’t see much of the oil rigs even at night. It is about 500 miles away from west Texas desert.
This is my home town and all the old folks say that every one knows exactly what happened and who never got in any trouble because of who their families were. The local take on it is pretty wild
@@laurieb3703 they basically said James mankins jr (He is the son of a former Texas state representative) did it but he was only held in the county jail for a while and was released. My mom was driving a car and saw him walking so she picked him up the day he got release from the jail. If he did do it, that would’ve been terrifying for my mother to be in the same car with him.
It was probably James Mankins Jr but since he is the son of a former Texas state representative, they won’t arrest him. He was held in a county jail for a while after the murders but he wasn’t put in prison.
Seeing the title be like: So it was the story of Richard from hotline Miami before turning into one of jacket mind characters and before going to Miami?
I’m from Kilgore and I first heard about this in high school and Kilgore police kept the nail and fingerprint and the oilfield isn’t that visible there like the derricks are. That kfc is now an eye doctor office
fun fact the white man who was accused is my grandfather:) biggest flex in tha wrld . r.i.p jim mankins youll forever be known🕊️💙‼️💯 best grandfather in the world .
heyyyyyyyy im from Tyler,TX/lindale area as well is there a big law enforcement employee with the last name pinkerton i bet there related there .....btw im a Kansan now lol
@@aaroniahevans3265 That name sounds familiar but I haven't lived there in a while. I have been all over the world and now I am in Wisconsin. That name does sound really familiar though. I knew a guy named Pingston in Germany so that may be what I am thinking of.
Hey guys, I live in Tyler Texas, and I worked at kfc on the loop and troup up until tonight, got fired for concealed carrying.......I consider my self lucky to have not ended up like the victims here in this video tho....you'd think they'd learn there lesson from not letting there employees carry back in the 80's but no, if your working in KFC your on the front lines unarmed because they do not have a problem with costomers open carrying but employees are forbidden from carrying even concealed
My grandma told me about this awhile ago she said she was supposed to work that night but her mom made her stay home because she had a bad feeling about her going in that night I'm glade she didn't go in
As someone native to the area and grew up hearing about this all my life I just want to say that Kilgore is in the middle of the east Texas piney woods region and it is literally surrounded by trees and grassy cow pastures, not the desert. At least get your environment backgrounds correct.
