Thanks!👍😊 Love finding those old crisp wheats and even appreciate a nice copper memorial! Can just imagine what’s buried out of reach in the filled in area seeing as there had been a cannon emplacement there during the War of 1812. Find my fair share of rotted zincolns along with our own minted from 1997-2012. They minted a mix of copper plated steel pennies during that time and they have fared a little better than the zincs. Still finding US pennies up here that post-date the end of the penny in 2012.
