Great video, Henk. Like the inclusion of the small stuff and not just lion etc. Comments on the ecology are also interesting. Thanks

It is a pleasure. Thank you for watching. Did you watch the first Episode as well? I am currently busy with an Eastern Cape series as well.

Looks like you had a rustige trippie. Lekker. I loke the suspensful soundtrack at the cheeta stalking section

It was very peaceful yes. In contrast to 4x4 trail outings. Glad the suspense worked. A kill would have been great! 😁

Hi Henk - great video I enjoyed the "actual perspective" of the animals without a big zoom lens, this indicates what visitors need to look with their bush eyes before bringing out the zoom. Would have liked if you were able to show on your map the routes you took and feedback on the actual road conditions as this would help future first time visitors to understand what they expect when visiting to experience. Is the road from Nossob to Mata and Mata to TR doable in a high clearance 4x2 SUV ? Did you reduce tyre pressure while driving the "main" routes and what pressures do you suggest. I am looking at visiting Kgalagadi in January on the way back to Gauteng from WC.

Good points raised! I only have a kit lense (18-135), so had to work with it like most people would. Good points on the map. I know have T4A which I did not have then which would have helped. To answer you. All the main roads you can do with a 4x2. You can do it with a polo. The polo might just not enjoy the corrugations and you will be a bit low… I would suggest 1.5 bar.
