Due to popular demand, I've decided to merge all six episodes of the Kgalagadi Trip 2023 video series into one long Kgalagadi documentary for you to enjoy in one go. It will take you on a 16-day adventure through the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, starting at Twee Rivieren, then moving up to MataMata and ending at Nossob rest camp.
During this time, I had some of the best lion, leopard and cheetah sightings I've ever had in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, along with a bucket list sighting of a caracal that came to drink at Bedinkt waterhole one morning.

My favourite place,! Thanks! Saw my first cheetah at Rooikop waterhole back in the late ‘70’s, mum and two cubs! Now in the UK we miss KTP 🥹

Hi mate - love your videos. Off to kruger in 4 weeks which is my favourite park but not yet been to the khalahari. Can you tell me which one you prefer and what month is best to go?

I love them both, Simon! If I had to choose one month for both, it would be April, but outside the Easter Holidays. I just love the temperatures and look of the veld this time of the year…

Het nog nooit probleme in die parke gehad nie, maar op die langpad worry ek maar. Dis hoekom alles slotjies aan het 😵‍💫

We very much like your videos! Next year we are planning to go to Kgalagadi based on your excellent trip. On this a question I hope you can and will answer. We want to cross the border at Nossob and drive into the Botswana side of the park. On the SAN webside its is mentioned that at least two cars are required (mandatory) to do this crossing. Is this true as we are only one care with three travellers. We hope to break the trip at Matopi before staying at Mabuasehube. Thank you for your thoughts on this.

@@mellekoster, I’m glad you like the videos. You are allowed to cross to Mabua in one car, but it is not recommended because of how remote that part of the park is. If you break down, you could be stranded for days without help. Only do this if you are an experienced 4x4 driver, you trust your car 100% and with a sat phone so that you can call for help if necessary.
