I think it's only the enemy model and animations that were ported. Everything else - hitboxes, damage properties, effects, etc, had to be remade from scratch in KH2's engine. Though I *think* that repulsion move is a custom animation?
@@zingodoomDarkside does that move in KH1 Dive to the Heart. I know this as I always wanted to get Tech Points by knocking the dark lasers and always had to do multiple cycles. However, the fact it pushes you away is definitely new, the animation is reused, though.
I just wanted to say that this project feels like a realization of something I wanted since playing KH2 when I was a kid, and that was giving Roxas a chance to have his story be his own. To see it like this is something really beautiful and I can’t thank you enough.

Holy crap! You're implementing the major story beats of Days into you're mod, which is narratively a "what if Roxas was the protag of KH2" story? That's actually sorta genius. Although, while I do think the idea itself is inspired, I'm a little disappointed that it's done through a computer program rather than Roxas slowly regaining his remaining memories as he journey's. Thematically, I just think the later would be a better fit. That's just totally a nitpick though.
Man, all of this stuff is so pretty. Also loving the actual HUD elements for the current score you have, it's quite nicely animated too and the style is well designed imo. Very nice stuff. :D
holy shit, darkside in kh2!! i cant even fathom how tricky that must have been to implement, but he looks amazing! great work! Also noticed the new animations for Xion! did you import her animations from days? in any case they look amazing, its so great to see Xion use her own run animation instead of Sora's!
Any other KH fans get the heebie jeebies from Darkside? He kinda freaked me out as a kid and now as an adult, it's like seeing a spider or something. I get a jolt of anxiety and then put it down, and the whole time I'm kinda creeped out. That part in 0.2 BBS with the Darkside forest was a freaking NIGHTMARE ZONE.
sad to see the baseball finisher go away for base roxas, seeing heartless get SENT was absolutely hilarious, but i can't wait to see what else comes next
Nmc isn't supposed to be a days remake, I'm guessing holo missions are a little extra or perhaps a part of the story in nmc where Roxas tries to remember everything that happened before virtual twilight town.
I'm so curious what the six holo missions will be and how you picked which ones to include. The little archives area for the castle is such a cool little area, though! I'm curious, is it based on the computer where Xion is snooping on Vexens files?
can you make special holo missions which unlocks new itens and abilities plus unique keyblades from the other games in the series or from other games in general?
@Redawi-m unfortunately, after the beta, NMC is gonna switch over to being a pc mod of KH2. So anything after beta. No more phone gameplay of full release NMC.
