He was able to answer a basic question a child could answer then on the next question he completely stumbled and froze and the interviewer had to say translate the next question in English so he could understand. Sometimes, I think McGregor's whole job is to be a walking publicity stunt. He's always drawing attention to himself and therefore - the UFC as a whole.
