It's tough to do something that is uncommon like a great wrestler not having to do too much head movement in their early UFC career so he just likely isn't conditioned in a way that it wouldn't empty his gas can on striking or evasion. He's not a trained striker like some of his opponents who also just can shoot open take downs cause they never really spent 8 years since first year high school training wrestling like khamzat.

Even if we forget about their different origins(chechen and dagestan) they would not work so great together. Khamzat is not religious, probably is hard to discipline by anyone else than his coach and has different training style. Khamzat is friends with till so i imagine he likes the same things as him. Sure, he likes khabib but he would likely see khabib as an opponent rather than a mentor, the wolf would not resist the chance to test his skills with him. Khamzat is also pretty rich right now so i dont think he would lead the training and lifestyle that khabib would require of him to become a champion. There is also the problem with khamzat having a big mouth when asked by reporters, in some interviews he said some stuff about khabib and he doesnt forget. And the final point would be that khamzat doesnt need khabib, he can be a champion without him, if he doesnt go crazy from all the training and punches to the head

He doesn't care about that, he wants the money-makers as champions. And if we wanna be real here, Khamzat's starpower is currently unmatched. Not just in the WW division, but in the whole UFC (excluding your woife in his dms).
Chimaev has no chance against covington or usman....not at all... He gets almost knocked out by Burns.... He's good...but not good enough. You need more fighting IQ to beat gys like covington...and he shows that if he gets existing or nervous..then he starts to brawl... And that's a big mistake against top ranking gys. He needs more years to grow. My opinion.
I despise Colby, but he should get a trophy for his cardio. If he makes it thru the first few exchanges he will grind Chimaev to a halt. Bet the house. I'm also gonna just go ahead and say that Usman will make Chimaev look worse than Masvidal.

I don’t think he can beat Usman but I think he’s either gonna viciously maul or tko Colby. Colby doesn’t hit anywhere near as hard as Burns and I think Chimaev can take him down. The only way I see Colby winning is if he manages to gas Khamzat out. I think Khamzat is gonna beat him dominantly.
