@@DJEmonTV Islam is adjustable as time passes. Yes, a lot of things are absolute with no compromise, but there are areas where there is some leeway since what's considered normal changes every day. Even though everyone should strive to be it, nobody's a perfect Muslim in the same way that nobody's a perfect human. Even though it's advised against, there has to be a slight concession for a person like Khabib since he's arguably the goat and so obviously has had a knack for it his entire life. It's also possible that he feels bad for the career path he's taken, hence probably tries to make up for it in other aspects of life. But yeah, the point is not every Muslim abides by everything he/she should, since realistically it's not possible, but there's a huge difference in doing something wrong while justifying it and doing something wrong while realizing that it's wrong so that one day you stop doing it, otherwise you never will.

One thing is for sure, if they both met in their primes, Khabib spends it on his back and is dominated. The fact GSP is 40 is the only thing that would have made this fight interesting. I would still take GSP as I think Khabib would spend the first 2 rounds on his back pondering why the hell he came out of retirement...after being worn out his will would be broken and he would either lose by submission or tko or last out a one-sided decision. Khabib never truly faced adversity because he didn't hang around long enough and didn't have the competition at LW during his time to truly test him. He would face adversity against GSP and then we would know what he is made of.
