Here's a little something About Chandler that you guys might not know. The guy is the current stand in for the Khabib vs Justin fight, if anything happens and one of those guys can't make it to the fight, chandler will fill the role. NOW, for this reason, he is also currently cutting weight in time for the fight. IF he is able to make weight, he gets his show money. Doesn't matter if khabib or Justin pull out or not. He gets his show money either way, without stepping into the octagon. Now, how much is he getting paid to be a replacement for a championship fight? I don't know. But I would imagine a good bit considering all the things involved. What my thinking is, he feels like he is in a good, safe place with his deal with the ufc for this specific fight. The ufc didn't know that they would be going crazy looking for a guy to match with Islam 9 days before the scheduled event or they would've negotiated that with chandler in their deal as well. But that didn't happen. And chandler got the deal to be the replacement for the championship fight. And now he feels like he's in a good spot with it and refuses to budge when it comes to fighting Islam. That's my 2 cents.

Big question is "Who can beat Khabib?". If the big question was "Who can beat Gaethje?" We would hear "Gaethje has never faced an opponent like Khabib".
