@@yellowbeez93 You can say he has a lot of moves that he reuses but I don't think you can say he's not freestyling. So I agree on the "Predictable 100%", but not on the "Freestyle 1%": he's one of the bboys who've grown musically over the years. The Japanese have a strong cypher/community culture in breaking as well, so I feel that helps a bunch. Honestly that's the joy of breakdancing imo, developing a core foundation of signature moves, that you slot and mix as you dance. If your moves aren't distinct, it seems less predictable/more like freestyle, but it loses a lot of complexity; on the other side of the spectrum, there's bboys who just run sets, with no mind to the music. I think Shigekix balances this pretty well. All that said, style is preference, so if you don't like the style, it is what it is.
