No tribe in nagaland is saint or flawless. Each tribe has their own strength and weakness. But with current anti-social elements caused by a particular tribe make many people thinking their upbringing by their parents and how their CSO's function to nurture their tribemens. Because if we watched at the daily news TV or papers most of the crime were caused by a particular tribe. Some comments put forward by the fellow Naga tribe may be harsh and uneasy to accept but their is also some truth behind the comments. So, instead of definding the culprit on public platform one should find the way to correct the wrongdoers and The best way to correct ourselve is at the level of Family and tribe. Hope this comment will take it with a positive thought.
As a Sumi I am not ashamed for some random people. I cannot view other people's actions from a "tribe" angle. When there's a recent paedophilia case in our state I did not condemn the entire tribe, or for a murder incident. Some bureaucrats stealing public money, I do not condemn the tribe. The tribalism mentality is for primitive people, for hunters and gatherers society. If anyone is to blame we are equally responsible, because as a society we have failed to raise just people. We have extremely corrupt politicians, chor officers and Govt employees, indiscipline lawmakers and police personnel, and even church leaders and pastors. Our Naga people are all neck deep corrupted and filled with chor money in almost every family! These people in the news are victims of corruped society, I pity them because we have failed as a society where corruption is normalised. They do not know how to earn corrupt money unnoticed like others!
True... Personally I am not against any tribe but we need to understand and fight against whole corruption. And at the end of the day we are all Nagas no matter what.
@@Akhnaton123 what you should also understand is the hypocrisy of it all. How we as Nagas take irrational pride and credit and rush to flood the newspapers with felicitations of "bringing laurels to the tribe or community" when someone from our bosti or tribe has made a noteworthy achievement but when the same tribesmen are in the news for all the wrong reasons then it's time for "do not judge and blame the entire tribe because of the wrongdoings of some individuals". Either do away with group mentality entirely or be ready to take accountability for the bad apples just as you take undue credit for good ones. We can't pick and drop according to our convenience.
Shameless Semiyas as always ... You can't blame your own tribe so you try to bring other tribes to pull them down to make yourself look good ... Disgusting behaviour as always ... No wonder all the tribes are started to be disgusted by you and your chor brothers 😂
I wanna know the tribe of the victim because judging by the incidents these days it won’t be far off the truth to assume that most of the time Non-sumis are at the receiving end of criminal activities of UGs in Dimapur. Today we are confronted with a very uncomfortable but serious question- do these UG workers who predominantly belong to one tribe become specially emboldened to harass, kidnap and extort their victims if they are from a tribe that isn’t their own?. What choice do the rest of us Non-Sumis have, then to view this persisting problem as tribally motivated if the outcome is based on our tribal identities. Don’t accuse me of being parochial and tribalistic, these are uncomfortable questions which didn’t just appear out of the blue but repeated incidents perpetuates such narratives which all of us must now confront.
Majority of the underground armies are given weapons with very less pay, no background check and trained on how to boss or threaten people. With very less salary and no requirements or laws to improve oneself, they will only do their wish. There needs to be an organised Naga army to protect minority rights but too much factions has divided the money resources and affected the original principles of Naga nationalist. Indian army has the most modern missiles and nukes ready but Naga army can't even organize or discipline itself.
If Village council makes such laws which will expell all the individuals who are involved in crime then only the fear will atleast minimise the crime orelse we all know after some days bail n same work continues. Just want to see a beautiful dimapur
Underground teh toh sumi khan heh ase naki... Chor exortation deh toh number 1 ase toh 😂 alak tribe wi naga army deh thakiwo but never heard of such cases...

Sometimes I wander are these/that groups fighting for our(Naga) Rights and Sovereignty or just recruited to kidnap, extortion, etc. Someone having with with wise knowledge explain me.
Immature brats commenting "Sumi" this and that but they are quiet when the same thing is done by their own tribe people. I'm a Ao and some of my own people does the same. Not a single tribe is clean, every tribe has such people and you can't deny this fact. And no, don't come with "but majority is blah blah" cos i believe y'all are Christians and I'm sure y'all know what Jesus said to the crowd when a woman from the Bible was about to be stoned to death. So go read the Bible cos just being born in a Christian family doesn't make you a Christian. Atleast think, people, it's not that hard to think. Anyway, good to know the three were kicked out of the group, and hope the other groups don't take them in.
@@HailingStorm I don't need to identify myself as an Ao to defend Sumi tribe if I was Sumi. I'm an Ao so I used it to make a point instead of using other tribe as an example. Take your negative mentality out of here.
Being a sumi, i'm not ought to feel ashamed because of what some random people belonging to my tribe commit crimes in our society. I'd be ashamed only if a crime is perpetuated by one of my family members. You don't take the credit of someone's achievement, do you? Likewise, the Same applies to the opposite. We got a shiiit ton of personal problems to deal with in our day to day life. Why have this collective mindset of "toi khan laga manu" or "moi khan laga manu"? Worry about yuur personal life and family, Work hard, strive towards building a better society instead of spreading hatred on the internet. We Nagas as a whole don't even constitute 1 percent of Indian population. Aru yati, itiya tak, mon aru dimak toh bosti pura ola nai. Go out and touch grass. As for me, i hate humans in general.
@@Ren-nk9pq I am not denying sumis commit a lot of these crimes. What i am talking about here is your primitive mindset you still have despite of education being easily accessible.. I'm assuming Your are either a teen or a grown ass man who has left his brain in his native village.

@@Hunter-q2m5r I am not denying that sumis commit alot of these crimes. I'm talking about the mindest of people like yours hating on particular tribe. I'm assuming you are either a teen or a grown ass man with the mind of a toddler. Despite of education being easily accesible for which i'm sure you went to school atleast, yet you still failed to comprehend what i meant. Tsk tsk..Worry about your personal life brother. Go out and make friends.
