He is known as Quaid-e-Kashmir Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas in Azad Jammu and Kashmir [1] The Kashmiri leader died in Rawalpindi on December 18, 1967 and laid to rest in Faizabad near Rawalpindi, close to the capital city of Islamabad When the state of Jammu and Kashmir was under the atrocities of Dogra Raj and the Muslims majority was being subjugated, Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas rose to the occasion with great valor and devotion and dedicated his life for the liberation of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

یہ بات درُست نہِیں ھےؑ بلکہ یہاں اپنے مُرِید کی خیر خبر لینے کیلِیےؑ یہاں کُچھ دیر رُکے تھے مِیاں صاحب اور مرِید جو کہ اِس گھر کی چھت ڈالنے میں مصرُوف تھا اُس کو آواز دِی کہ کھانا لیکر آےؑ میں نے آگے مِیر پُور جانا ھےؑ مُرِید سے غلطِی ھُوئ اور اُس نے جواب دِیا کہ بٙس تھوڑا کام ھےؑ ختم کر کے نِیچے آتا ھُوں جِس پر مِیاں صاحب یہ کہ کر چلے گےؑ کہ نٙہ چھت پڑِی اور نٙہ ہم نے کھانا کھایا بٙس پِھر چھت گِر گئ اور کئ بار کوشش کرنے کے باوجُود چھٙت نہِیں پڑِی یہ مِیاں صاحب کا خاص مُرِید تھا مگر غلطِی ھو گئ اور عام اِنسانُوں کیلِیے اِس کا بنایا مکان ؑ عِبرت کا نشان بٙن گیا
