After leaving Pattaya, for our latest Travel vlog in Thailand, we headed up North to Khon Kaen, in Isan province. I had an amazing day in Khon Kaen, being shown around a village and learning about their way of life. The people were all so friendly to me and I had such a memorable experience. We are in Khon Kaen for two days and then heading back to Pattaya. I hope to have more experiences like this in Thailand.

Congratulations to you both for visiting that landmark city in Thailand. The University of Khon Kaen is possibly the most innovative in Thailand and is also the alma matter of the most awarded Thai movie director in successive international festivals, his name's Apichatpong Weerasethakul อภิชาติพงศ์ วีระเศรษฐกุล (while he may be better known outside than in Thailand proper, he's well known in Khon Kaen)

Really enjoyable video around Khon Khan loved the village and the tour around to see what everyone does that’s something I wouldn’t normally see . When Thai girls in the villages say they are going fishing. Don't think that mean fishing in the literal sense, It's in the paddy fields with a net fishing for tadpoles and insects to eat. They squeeze the head of the tadpoles and eat with salad collected from around the village.

I had a girlfriend from a village called Kalison near Khon Kaen and it was exactly the same when I visited in 1994. They made those same Fabric and dresses

Would be good if you could elaborate about that point you made at 4:05 about not needing to know a language to tell stories. It seems like a really interesting philosophy and I'd like to know what made you come to that conclusion!

Well from what I have read, only 7% of communication comes from words. I started to learn when speaking to people that spoke just a little English. Using very few but common and well known words, then using actions and sounds to tell the rest. Around that point of the video I was saying how Cynthia drives fast and I hold on to things just using mostly sounds and actions, you can see them all laughing.

Come to our buffalo and fish farm in SiChompu guys. Cute pedigree Buffalo's! It's only an hour and a half north of Khon kaen.

@@keisone lol, the last toss wasn't bad for a beginner. Our ponds are chalked full. It'll make you look like a pro! The buffalos have offspring that are friendly and really cool. Pink buffalo too! They go swimming in the afternoon and roam around the farm. Tell Cynthia there are 6 dogs!

Those two wheeled tractors are called Tillers or Iron Buffalo. A new Kubota Tiller is about 110,000 baht. You need to spend more time in rural Thailand to experience the real Thai life but would probably be boring for most RU-vid followers.

I am not a lover of Issan food and I live in Udonthani province 50% of my time. In fact, the only food that I cannot eat is that Papaya Salad made from rotten fish that makes the smell of a raw sewage works seem like an airfreshner.

@@Tony-eb5kh Never heard of that. That raw bef salad does sound nasty. I remember eating very thin raw sirloin steak in olive oil and oregano and pepper (similarly Italian speciality) in Manchester and shit my pants before I got off the motorway at Watford.

Haha great questions; Cynthia drives because I am not insured to drive her car, and she loves driving! The tape is printed on, it looks super realistic! Cynthia works with real estate and various investments. We both work a lot off camera

Fantastic so jealous I was lucky when they took me fishing they pumped the water out I just had to go pick the fish up 555555 you will never see Cynthia happier than today the only reason they leave village life is for money we have house in nong na karm near pu Wang the people in the village like us because we have white skin I like the fack Cynthia doesn't wear much make up not like most Thai lady including my step daughter she has heaps on every day all day 55555 Cynthia is a keeper Adam I carnt wait to retire to my wife's village same every ones so happy

And I should also explain. I don’t plan my life around my content. I live my life how I want and film whatever I do that day. If people don’t like it all that’s cool, some days will be more interesting than others.

@@bigal2417 haha it’s ok, I appreciate that your intentions are good, I am 38 so maybe not as young as you might think. Also for me even putting out an average video is better than no video at all. The days there are no videos the revenue and new audience drops. I do try to make them all as good as possible, but some topics and experiences are less interesting to some people. But it’s still worth my while to do it, plus I enjoy the process. This video is doing alright so far, ranked 5/10 out of my recent videos, so I guess some people have enjoyed it. Stick around, more to come 😊

Khon Kaen is an underrated part of Thailand. So much to do a places to go. Namphong national park is a must see. It is just an amazing place and not to far to drive to from Kohn Kaen.
