No, you can clearly see in the video that this is all the food/drinks and gym/massage he uses in a day. But, if you cut out the beer, the massage and have a thai girlfriend cook your food for you, the cost per day goes down 10 folds.

be real, it varies WAY too much depending on the person. Typically I spend $10 a day at a hostel, 5-7 on 3 meals a day and some Oishi, and maybe a buck or two on the BTS or something at 7. You could make it decent on $150 or be a 2 wk "millionaire" for $1000. Tip, if you LIKE TO DRINK and need western food, triple what you THINK you might spend.

800b per day not include accomodation, which I assume 800b - 1000b more. Around 50000b/month. Not cheap at all

To keep my weight in Thailand, usually what I eat (as my staples) are bananas, the brown eggs from 7-11 and the chicken on skewers from the street vendors. I found a good one near Surasak. I agree with the majority of Thai food being carb based, I find the portion sizes to be incredibly small though vs Canada. About a third the size.

Hi Adam I have been a low carb eater for a couple of years. My thai wife makes me cauliflour rice for me to have with phat kaphrao and other dishes and it is hard to tell the difference between that and rice. Been going to thailand for 38 years. In thailand from feb for a while if you would like to catch up for a drink. Merry christmas Adam

Much prefer this more realistic look at costs compared to those "how cheaply can you eat" videos everyone does. Be interesting to see what the costs look like for someone who maybe doesn't want to (or can't due to health/age/hangover lol) eat out three times a day. You hear vloggers say you can't eat at home for a comparable price, but that has to be clichéd bollocks. Nice vid man.

I would like to compare against your week. Some days i dont buy drinks out. Maybe one or two days a week, i stay in and mix something up. But if i just buy food and taxis it is B500 or less some days. And I traveled quite a bit! Last night Khaosan u til next trip! See ya mate!

Great video Keis. love the idea of using coins for the train, never thought of that. I'm the same i put on weight when I'm in Thailand so going to the gym is a great way to loose it. I'm going to love going around Bangkok and just exploring the place. Now I know why you said 15 k would last so long. i would only spend $40-$50 a day. Cheers Keis stay safe mate.

Hell yeah continue this series and on your other channel you can go more indepth on the meals. This video was just so peaceful man I greatly appreciated this. I also understand the transition of changing habits as we're about the same age. I tell ya this I didn't know who you were, but I genuinely enjoy who you are and what you're becoming. Free spirited enjoying the simple things taking us with you while you try new experiences. From the footage of dirt biking and wild times I feel you're vastly different you're a good man doing life the right way great work bro.

Make sure you add some incline on the treadmill brother! At low intensity it will cut fat faster! At highr speed your cardio will get a killer workout! 💪I always max it out! But whatever you like for you! 😊

I was on a teachers salary of 30000 baht per month. Extremely difficult to get by with that amount. Until I started to teach online and now earn 140000 baht per month. Major improvement.

I guess it depends on your lifestyle.. I could survive on 30k per month but would have to adapt a little. But if you work full time, you typically spend less money day to day.

So looking forward to coming to Thailand, the entry requirements are extra for being Nigerin (Drug test and police test). What freaks me out is the pavements. Why are they so crazy looking? Trees, cars stalls and electical poles. Crazy.
