@@animesuxxxx this so very much. In all gamemodes it SHOULD show. Its ridiculous that something so important doesnt show up on the unit cards.

If I remember correctly its a 20% stat debuff including armor. So yeah, it can easily mean a lower tier unit cost effectively trading with an expensive main piece.

I believe the Icon of Endless War only affects the cultist/shrine himself. It says "Affects allies in range MAX 1"

​@Debilinside various points for various stats. For armor it's rocking 30% reduction, for MD it's 15%, iirc. But overall exhaustion is brutal, not gonna lie

Why would it be an aoe effect if it only affected the shrine? It probably effects the shrine +1 other unit in range@@Luttzvaq666

Agreed. Been seeing too many games where Khorne just gets stomped, even in melee. So this was a nice change of pace.

@@SpiritoftheSands Daemons get 40% resistance from non-magical attacks with Valkia around! Pretty crazy

Should start with a petition with CA. Another mechanic that could be cool would be a map wide melee attack / weapon strength buff each time the enemy army casts a spell to symbolize the army raging due to cowardly magic. Might be busted, but something like that would differentiate them substantially from other factions.

ancient salamander or even better a salamander hunting pack would have done the trick here

A khorne shaman type character with something similar to rune magic could be cool with a bunch of buff and debuff spells

@@ReachStudioPro it doesn't really matter how you call it/how the mechanic exactly works at the end of the day but having some khorne battle rattle character giving out buffs and debuffs doesn't sound completely out of character for khorne

@@ReachStudioProSuch a common misconception that Khorne is 100% anti magic, but it’s nonsense if you think about it. Khorne is a god who exists in the 100% magical realm of Chaos. You don’t think it’s magic when Khorne turns a mortal into a Demon Prince? How about when a unit of Bloodletters materializes out of thin air? Khorne isn’t magically blessing Minotaurs with regeneration in combat, or his warriors with their inhuman strength? Khorne is against using magic to throw spells at the enemy from far away instead of facing them in melee. The roster is already full of buffs and debuffs that support melee performance, what do you think the Warshrine is?

agree, it would be cool to have a khorne shaman hero character. but I find it very difficult to do that.

A shrine to give Khorne some speed (like a "battle eagerness" or something. WOuld help them to actually get the engages they need to get while still making them distinct from slaanesh (slaanesh can be everywhere, this shrine would create something of a mobile wrecking-ball deathstar). A melee-centric faction sounds fun if they could just get tools.

Can't they just lean even harder in to their strength and win harder that way? It does seem that they are a bit too weak/expensive but this is another matter

Flesh hound nerf put them in the garbage can and a new strat to make them shine is not forthcoming. It's rough, because ideally you'd want a melee bruiser faction like this to be able to shine. Their struggle right now reminds me of the beastmen's "sad moo" era.

Their strongest units that were carrying them were nerfed and their infantry are overcosted. That plus their predictability make for poor performance at higher levels of play.
