Khuṭbah: The Story of Jesus Christ in the Quran | Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi 

Before I used to read the newspaper with my morning coffee but now I look if there is a new upload from DR .YASIR or listen to one of his old lectures.... one lifetime is less for common Muslims to absorb the knowledge given thru these lectures.... May Allah swt bless him with a long ,healthy and happy life

This right here, is why I, raised Catholic, turned born again Christian 3 years ago, took my shahada this year. I love the _whole_ Word of God and the Quran is clearly the completion of His Word for those who reason. Verily, the Injil (the Gospel) and my faith in Isa Alayis Salaam, healed my broken heart and led me to the truth of Allah. La illaha ilallah. 📖 🕊💡

Wrote down the Introduction for you all. I loved how it rhymed. All praise is due to Allah who created the heavens and earth in six days, and rose over the majestic throne He created our father Adam from soil and clay, and shaped him with his own hands and into him the ruh was blown He commanded Nuh to build the ark, and Ibrahim to build the Kabbah in which is the sacred black stone He gave Eesa the gift of healing the sick and resurrecting the dead, and saved Moosa from the army of the Firaun And he chose our Prophet Muhammad SAW to be the final messenger and the most respected of them and to be well known He created us all in stages, from a mixture of fluids then an embryo then a child until we are fully grown And he ordained for us our livelihoods until the angel of death comes to us and a time that shall not be postponed So, we ask Allah to have mercy on us on judgement day when we stand before him with our deeds all alone

We are honoured to have a mighty messenger Jesus (may Allahs peace and blessings be upon him) Ya Rab if you cause Jesus to Come down whilst we are on this earth then make us amongst those who stand by his side.

Before I wasn’t that much interested in going to RU-vid to make a research concerning Islam and the stories of our prophets,but due to the help of my dad who’s more dedicated in following Islamic scholars in RU-vid specifically dr Yasin qadhi he encouraged me to listen to him always and am now knowing some basic fundamental things in my religion.

Thank you for sharing this video. The Messiah is also known as "Saviour" but what does the Messiah really save us from? His teachings - especially teachings of Forgiveness and unconditional/nonjudgmental Love - save us from mental illness, which Isa (Jesus) (peace be upon him) symbolically called hell. If for example, our minds are disturbed with hatred towards an enemy, it is difficult to enjoy life. Forgiveness restores inner peace and peace within our minds. May everyone enjoy inner peace, blessings, and health and wellness.

Be peaceful and spread peace, be anything else at your own peril. Question: Who of right or sound mind (someone with sanity) will be taking part in these activities with the intention of (or with the lack of knowledge of the implications of certain acts) worshiping something other than Allah? These types of rhetorical analysis (mentioned at the closing of the talk) could only come from someone who also believes in (the incorrect belief of) jinns, black magic, witchcraft, evil eye (that has power in and of itself) superstition. I admire the humbleness displayed by brother Dr Qadhi. In that he is adamant that he would rather not indulge in the technicalities because we cannot have full or perfect knowledge and these are his observations and the scholars of the past.. However when addressing a following/ fan-base (because let's not forget this is in the public sphere/ social media) who are susceptible to incorrectly concluding and assuming due to lack of knowledge (mostly laziness.. i say this because these types of people trigger you and press your buttons for the sole purpose of then figuring out whether what your saying is true or false, how much you actually believe in something) we are to take a moral stance and first strive to make sure the knowledge we pass on to others has been revised and meticulously analysed. I say this not to lecture the lecturer but I felt it was my duty to pass on my feelings before I turn inwards and pray. May Allah grant us true guidance and peace.

33:50 about that, read a story about "saint" Ambrose. He was playing a victim all his life, preaching how pagans should let christians coexist with them in peace, etc... Guess what happened DAYS after Constantine made christianity state religion? Ambrose went on a rampage, burning pagan temples and burning synagogues, So much for peaceful christian coexistence.

Jesus's ''Good news'' was not about the ''Kingdom of God- The Paradise'', Because it is not a new news. Every Prophet of God told their people about the Heaven & Hell. The Good News of Jesus(PBUH) was - The Final Prophet, Mihammadur Rasulullah (PBUH) will come after his departure. And The Quran also confirmed this fact. That Jesus(PBUH) gave them the Good news of The Prophet after him named ''Ahmad'' which is another name of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH).

Great lecture ya Shaykh as always. But... The whole nasheed, we need the whole Nasheed, or I am starting a petition!!!
