The fact that Khun putting his head in Bam’s lap was added to the anime adaptation. I c a n n o t . I freaking shipped it in the webtoon nothing is stopping me from shipping it in the anime too
I love brotherhood without yaoi things, like frodo and samwise in lord of the ring.. its more beautiful because right now. People always think about homosexual and i sick of it
@@cytho1302 hello, if you're saying this, I'm guessing that you didn't read the webtoon. Early on in the webtoon, Khun and Bam are depicted at most as budding friends (since they only just started knowing each other) but in the anime, Khun is shown to be leaning against Bam and lying on his lap, which NEVER happened in the webtoon. It shows them being much closer than in the webtoon, and it's fanservice XD
“The real game starts now.” *are they gonna kiss* edit: i deeply apologize for this absolutely cringeworthy comment why did i post this comment i swear i was so cringe 2 years ago.. i dont take back about them kissing tho /j
I really like how they’re adapting this so far. I really do love the new character interactions (also khunxbam) some people don’t like it because it leaves a lot out but they’re trying really hard and collaborating with SIU to make it as accurate as possible. Also the first arc happened alllll the way back in 2010 so it just makes sense that it’ll be a more rebooted version and more refined too considering how long ago it was and how much experience SIU has gotten. It’s so cool ^^
Syahnovli Kuartapama minor spoiler: if you read the webtoon theres another character (im not sure if the anime has gotten there yet) who is basically killua 😂 his name is khun ran
LAP PILLOW MADE ME READ THE WEEBTOON, I mean... WEBTOON! I am kinda weak to lap pillows, regardless the genders, has nothing to do with straight, yaoi or yuri
Wise Sage of the Fanservice realms Sadly it didn’t happen in the manhwa But Bam and Khun is already an existing ship for a lot of readers. Especially with latest chapters up I just feel the devotion T^T
@@onemoregodrejected9369 Exactly~! The way they treat each other in the webtoon is so freakin' heartwarming I busted out all uwus and owos~ Again, it's cute how they added a scene of Khun lying down on Bam's lap hehe. It didn't really happen in the webtoon but hey I was still a shipper >///////< Oh! And of course I wouldn't ship a ship without reason >:] One of the latest chapters in the manhwa just make me love the two more T^T
@@ipurpleyou6234 I dont like ships without a reason (unless the reason is to piss off someone and then not even I really take seriously the ship). I willl refrain from further reasing your comment because I am around 204 chapter ^^ ' dont notify any spoiler.
Did yall know Khun's voiceactor is Okamoto Nobuhiko?? (He voiceacted characters like Bakugo from bnha, Nishinoya from Haikyuu, Okumura from Blue exorcist, Genya from kny, etc.) Edit: (Also, Karma from assassination classroom, Zack from angels of death, and lots more)
People in the comments complaining about Baam's name being changed to Yoru in japanese, just remember that Baam's name is literally "the 25th Baam" he was named after the night he was born. Bam/Baam and Yoru have the same meaning, just in different languages. Imo it makes sense they'd change it for japanese audiences, if the webtoon hadn't explained the meaning of the word Baam (it being 'Night' in this case) a lot of the symbolism and storytelling that relies on that knowledge wouldve been lost on me
@@xavierlynch1088 its not really as much of an actual name. Its a word He is literally called the twenty-fifth night. Translating names happens. It aint that big of a deal, especially not here where the main character's name is just the date of his birth
@@LithiaSinclair it's a name and a shitty practice to translate them. Many are colors in japan too but subs and dubs dont change them. Also they completely changed hwa ryuns name into Karen
Did you consider some names just feel really awkward and out of place, or are really hard to pronounce when spoken by a different language My literal own name is nigh impossible to pronounce in English. It's uncomfortable to say so I change it when speaking to people outside my own country I dont agree with the hwa-ryun to karen thing but for gods sake Baam's name is a date. He is called Night, thats what koreans hear when they hear Bam/Baam and they changed his name to Yoru in japanese to emphasize that same thing His name is Night in whatever language it's spoken in. Not Baam, the word for Night. Because that's significant to the actual story, the symbolism in it How obnoxious would it be if the anime has to explain that Baam means night, how would you make that dialogue feel natural in this setting The name change for Baam works fine, complain about the others to your hearts content if you want to, but for Baam that argument is different
@@LithiaSinclair nah I'll still complain because the argumen lacks substance if they wanted to keep the names true the subtitles wouldnt say bam or yoru. It would say night but it doesnt.
I keep seeing that I will hate Rachel and I’m kinda scared I mean considering she left Bam to Khun, it makes sense if Khun and Bam become best friends in the future, they seem like the antagonist and the protagonist... Kinda like Killua and Gon, but yknow I already don’t like Rachel since she left Bam quickly enough for her own desires and won’t even pay him a visit since he only just wants to see her once more and have a decent explanation And I feel like Khun will be there for him, even if it’s to soothe him or just stay with him throughout everything I only finished the latest episode put out (without premium on crunchyroll) and am currently reading the WEBTOON I like this ship a lot, I like the development already Going back to Killua and Gon, I ship them as well due to their character development, friendship, and everything, though Gon can be a jerk to Kirua sometimes It’s similar to Khun and Bam, but Bam isn’t really like Gon, I just feel the friendship levels will be the same I like the ship though, A LOT
yeye and in the webtoon (sorry if i spoil this) !Spoilers if you haven't read the webtoon yet! Khun actually says and I quote "She killed my best friend" hes saying that Rachel killed Bam in the webtoon
0:03 i was searching for khun va yesterday and came across bakugo's oi oi oi song and this just gave me flashbacks..oh lord the comments on that video made me feel alive😂
BamKhun is otp. i know every girls r basically interested in Bam and Bam may be interested in girls, but Khun's obsession and affection towards Bam is not dismissable. Some may say just really deep bond, but I believe there's more than just friend, but rather khun might be romantically interested in Bam. I know Khun was also obsessed with Maria getting the throne and some ppl say that it's same thing with bam and khun, but i think with maria, it was platonic and with bam, its smth deeper. i dont mind BamEndorci either, thats cute but Khun best waifu🥴
I mean, I'll be honest, for all of the... jokes... that people make about Bam's so called "harem" every time a new female character is introduced (which feels reductive and sexist to me, by the way, but that's aside the point), he pretty consistently doesn't seem to show any interest in girls whatsoever. Like, not even in the sense of the "oblivious MC" trope- down the line, I'm pretty sure Bam isn't so naive that he never figures out sexual and romantic attraction- he just simply seems to not reciprocate any girl's advancements. He's perfectly respectful of them, even when in close proximity to them, like with Ehwa and Endorsi for example, and never has any moments of flustered embarassment while in physical contact with them. It just doesn't seem to be something on his mind. I could definitely see Bam and Khun having some sort of deep romantic/queer-platonic (if you are unaware of what that means, think dedicated life partners with little to no interest in typical romantic or physical pursuits) bond- they both seem similar in that respect.
yes, they will spoilers bam will be pushed by rachel into a deep ravine and everyone will think bam is dead but 6 years later hes HELLA strong and alive
Lmao its funny how the anime version noone talks about rachel and in the webtoon comic version everyone is literal rage mode at rachel snd her superiority complex
I like their relationship, not in a romantic way but a friendship way, it’s very sweet, what happened to just bros being supportive and encouraging to other bros?🤷🏻♀️😂
Also I've noticed no one ship girls when they're being like that but it's always with boys... Really I'm glad I'm not the only who wants to see them just having a nice and cute friendship
I was kinda thinking all of them are pre-teens and bam still hasn't hit puberty because later on Endorssi hits puberty like a bus when I said later on I mean season 2
It’s hard to tell ages bc Shinsu can make them look young. Plus I remember someone saying that SIU said that time is different there than here. Like it goes faster.
If considering the age from the moment they were born. The oldest of them all is... Spoiler below Bam, dude belike 10000+ But he was not conscious the entire time. Just some time before Rachel appeared. Khun and Endorsi is around 300 The youngest of the current cast is Hatz I think.
Its funny cause alot of anime-only shippers probably just ship khunbam cause they think its cute, but little did they know that this ship actually makes alot of sense if y'all just read the webtoon haha. Dont forget to start from the beginning 😌
It annoys the hell out of me that they draw the Black March as a sword. It's supposed to be a needle. Swords aren't commonly used in the tower. There's a damn good reason for it. Shinsu density makes it difficult to use swords the higher you climb. There's only one family that can bypass this issue. And they had to come up with a special sword style to do it. I hope they fix this before introducing Inieta or Hoaquin and his siblings. It really doesn't make sense to have the Arie family focus on swords if just anyone can use them.
I think they made it for both marketing and visual appearance, specially because the design of the needles it's just too simplistic to attract the new readers/viewers attention. They still made a cool-looking thin sword of the black march, it isn't a common sword or katana either since it's so thin and straight more like a rapier (which is the closest real weapon to being a needle), i think they did a good job with that as well as with the shinsu. I totally understand that it's not perfect plot-wise but i still consider as i said that if the black march is used as a rapier it still acomplishes the same purpose as a needle combat-wise since both are mainly piercing weapons, not slashing ones like the majority of swords, katanas and so on. I'm enjoying the adaptation a lot so far, and both the music and the sound effects are simply great and epic. They modified minor details (imo) but they are doing great in other aspects.
OMG!!! Thank you for this! I've never really ship them when I was reading the webtoon but I've been shipping them since the trailer came out and I've been fangirling throughout this part of the episode
Rachel: pushes bam off to kill him so she can climb the tower Khun: pulls him closer and puts a crown on his head so that he could climb the tower together.
6:12 wow that was over dramatic, those effects wasn't even in the Manhwa. In the Manhwa it went like a slash of wind that reflected Hwaryun's attack not a shining shimmering explosion of shinsu. And I don't remember Bam waking up and tried to kill Hwaryun but get stopped by the Black March
My sister fangirled like a maniac when we watched this scene. She kept screaming "MY SHIP IS SAILING BISHES!" until our parents yelled her to shut up. Not gunna lie, Im straight but I ship this too
