Khuri Jaisalmer is the lesser known gem which can easily be considered as the the best sand dunes in Thar Desert, Rajasthan. The dunes are situated beside a small Khuri village. We did a small road trip from Jaisalmer to Khuri, had a little unfortunate adventure on the road, enjoyed the sunset at Khuri Sand Dunes, slept under the night sky full of stars and finally enjoyed a majestic sunrise. Overall, it was a very beautiful experience, one that I can totally recommend if you are ever planning a trip to Jaisalmer.
