They made, let’s see here, a F-22 raptor, a F-4 phantom, a couple of helicopters, the space shuttle (with astronaut), a space shuttle on a 747, Air Force one, P-51 mustang, P-40 war hawk. FW190, A harrier jumpjet, some jets from some sort of anime (those are all hasegawa models) uh... they even made tanks and three maybe four battleships (meng and another company) and than there’s this company as well. All of those models game from Asian companies.
i really love how you give the same love and attention to this happy little plane as you do to the most grizzled and realistic models out there! Good job as always Plasmo, can´t wait to see more!
I really commend your patience, skill, creativity, and talent. I initially would never have thought to put this much effort into a novelty gag model kit, but now I'm rethinking my attitude. Your presentation is incredible! The cherry blossom tree completes it. Wow!
I just watched this with my husband, he’s into modeling and war gaming and I’m into crafting. We loved watching you create this masterpiece. I wanted to see how you did the cherry blossom tree and it is so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas.
David, great job as usual. You clearly show us that even a cheap, basic model kit, can be made to be a star. Who knew that in addition to modelling, you are also the master of Bonsai trees. Hehehe. Your build of this kit and diorama serve to remind us why we live for and love building models: it's the process of building and creating.
Fantastic production values as always. Everything is always in focus, the commentary is very clear, the lighting is perfect, the music matches the subject matter. Just perfect.
WOW< thank you again for bringing a well developed and very thoughtfully built, version of this plane. Considering that the scale and look of the plane are considerably unconventional, you have given me a new love for this kind of model. Thank you so much you are truly a once in a lifetime inspirational model builder. Thank you also for taking us on this adventure of your build process. It is much more than this I'm sure but however hard or small the task may be you always take on the challenge so bravely and produce such highly detailed models that are in themselves Museum quality models.
Plasmo you are the king, I've seen about 10 videos now and your work is second to none, your details and dedication on every model are brilliant and your ingenuity, creativeness and execution at things new to you ( like your dioramas) make a riveting watch, I know I've chosen the wrong video to salute your skills but I just had to say your the best model maker on RU-vid and probably the world!
Hey mr plasmo did you know you can brush on your tamiya cement to blend the the seams instead of putty n its dry in a few moments , just keep brushing it over the seam , use a flat brush to do it . Its hinda like drybrushing it over . I dont use anything else , its methyline chloride in the tamiya , its called plastic weld in the uk n i can buy 5ltrs of it for £6.00....i put it in a jar with the sprues n it becomes as thin or thick as you like n dries solid within the hour....😉
Hi David! I have to say that little model is ridicolous, but it is also really lovely... a GREAT JOB, as usual, of an unusual subject... My little daughter is smiling...
Such a beautiful job. Thank you for sharing it. Your process is relaxing but also fascinating and educational. I will be stealing that wire method for tree making.
Egg kits are my favorite to make and seeing a video pop up of Plasmo making one made my day. Now just waiting for the Moebius deformed BSG Viper video. Thanks David.
stunning work Plasmo (especially on that cherry tree!).I've never been that keen on egg plane kits, however your work on this Ki-84 Hayate is downright amazing!
I honestly loved the video! You did an incredible job with the detailing, even when the kit was more on the basic side. Making the diorama was also pretty nice to watch, so yeah - I would love to see you build more egg planes (or tanks, or ships... and with dioramas, please)! I'm not a modeller myself, but I love to draw/paint and when I watch your videos, I get a sudden urge to paint, so that's what I'm going to do now.
So inspirational. There is an Egg Plane GB going on at the moment and i was just going to build the plane. But now you have inspired me to do more. Thanks David.
I love how you added all the details to this model.. i was supriced not to see the engine cabinet being cut open, with a extra kit with engine parts.. and some chibi figures fixing it xD
Fantastic! 1st April content: Eggplane. And still it is so educative, so creative and so beautiful model + diorama, some hours of work, but stil it was amusing, relaxing job and and relaxing to watch. Thank you!
Very beautiful Sakura. As always I am in awe at your artistic talent and painting techniques. I always learn something new when I watch your videos. Can't wait to see your next one!!
Great work. This plane seems to have a motif of the 57th Simbutai from the mark of the tail and the character of " certain kill" written on the fuselage. As you may know, if you are familiar with Japanese aircraft, this unit was organized to make a special attack. Even with aircraft that have such sad episodes, it is proof of a peaceful era that can fit in size that everyone can get and bring joy. Time flowed and we went away from war. While cherishing the slight sadness found in the joy of assembling, the value of the work that warbird snuggles with the cherry blossoms is immeasurable.
I am again so very impressed by your work. And incase I haven't said it before the music is always right on, with excellent editing. Not easy to do. ;)
As always I feel relaxed while watching your videos, I like your narration even though the English isn't perfect. Ever thought to show your models on instagram? That would be an incredible gallery.
I love your videos, they really show the creative process of going out and trying new things. With the skills you already have, every new kit makes you better! Because that's what art is about Keep up the good work!
Beautiful build, I love the Tiger Models Cute Planes even more than the Hasagawa Egg Planes. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to building more, including the Meng Tanks and ships, you will enjoy them as well. Oh, and the diorama Base was outstanding. The tree turned out amazing.
Great job as usual. You make it look easy! I think you must be the best youtube modeler for skill and teaching ability. I've said this before and it seems like I'm the only one but I really don't like these egg models. They just rub me the wrong way. I guess I think it is wrong to infantilize these machines. Maybe I think it disrespects the people who fought in them. I'm not sure. They are like the visual equivalent to nails on a chalkboard to me.
I got a suggestion for your next egg style build, a MENG warship builder scharnhorst. It was a nice build (a lot of tiny pieces, AA batteries, signal/spot lights, etc.) and I would think you enjoy it. It even came with a display stand! (Also great work on this Ki-84, i never seen a model builder make a diorama for that style of models)
I love it, so cute and awesome done. Why dont you use airbrush for the balsa wood on the sides of your diorama. Also if you read this Plasmo. I would like to see some car dioramas in the future from your hand
