Music has always been our bridge to different lands, cultures, traditions, languages, and people. Initially as a simple listeners, and then very later as musicians, we found ourselves drawn to various musical landscapes. This instinct one day led us to discover there is something called Bluegrass Music, a genre thriving on the totally opposite side of the world, which captivated our hearts and made us fall deeply in love with its unique charm.
On our journey, many individuals appeared like prophets, whispered magical messages, and supported us as if we were living a dream. There were tons of reasons to fail, but we were fortunate to have these selfless supporters. They reminded us that, despite life's hardships, there is always someone who will say, "Pack up Your Sorrows".
On this World Music Day, we dedicate this song to everyone who has supported us and to those who are suffering. The song, originally written and sung by Richard Farina and Mimi Farina, has been beautifully translated into Bengali by the eminent and influential singer-songwriter from Kolkata, Arunendu Das (Arun da).
