Really impressed with Kia Carens My Favorite Features are 1. All wheel Disc Brakes 2. 64 color ambient Lighting 3. Cooled bottle holders 4. Top Mounted Ac vents with diffuser 5. USB C , USB and Wireless Charging all together 6. Interior Color Scheme 7.Bose Speaker System 8. One touch passenger Seat fold 9. Steering Mounted Paddle shifters in DCT variant 10. Last row Reclining seats 11.Ventilated front seats What i dont like 1. Speedometer isnt that great 2. Could have given Electric seat adjust atleast for Top Variants

Speedometer you can't look it everytime, Electric seat will increase price atleast they provided ventilated seats in top end. So here price matters.

My Friend Father Forced him to ertiga bcz his father needs 7 seater car and his budget is 10Lakhs.. But he is not interested in Ertiga.. I also recommended Kia Carens to him.. He can get base model at 10lakhs with 6 Air Bags and Other Performance matters.. After this conversation I opened RU-vid and seeing your video and same you said . ✌️😸

Carens is definitely be a flagship killer in MPV segment similar to Vitara brezza in 2016. MPV revolution started similar to SUV craze

I had Ford Figo base variant (2012 model) . I met with major accident in Chennai-Bangalore highway near Sriperumbudur. My car was dashed by a tipper lorry behind back while I was trying to overtake a trailer. Car hit the median and lost balance. It toppled twice before landing upside down on the other side. We didn't wear seat belt and there was no air bag in my car. The structural integrity of Figo saved our lives without a scratch. However, I had to junk the car for scrap because of lower IDV value in insurance. Structural integrity and the aerodynamic design is very important for a car's sturdiness. I would still suggest you to advise people for discouraging people from opting for sun roof cars.

Superb Presentation.. bcoz (1) Layman can easily understand and relate (2) As an auto enthusiast, I liked the way Carens had positioned the Product( and snatching not two but multiple mangoes in a single stone, as they say in Tamil) and pull the customer from multiple segments like(Mid to High end variants of the Premium Hatch back(Jazz/ I20) / sub 4 mtrs sedan(Amaze/ Dzire) and SUVs(XUV 300/Venue/Sonet), Entry level MPV(Triber/ Ertiga)and Mid segment MPVs( Scorpio/XUV 500/ Alcazar/ Safari/XUV 700), Mid size sedans(City/ Verna/ upcoming Slavia and Virtus), Mid size SUVs(Creta/Seltos/ Taigun/ kushaq) Through their Killer Pricing beating the XUV 700 to some extent.(3)One thing that u mentioned could have been better, which I felt was it could have an additional diesel engine say to the tune of around(150bhp-185 bhp) with the existing 1.5 ltr Diesel engine that could have taken the fight head-on to the territory of (Safari/XUV 700 and to some extent Innova Crysta) and also for an effortless pull bcoz of the additional weight..(4) Still I feel the Carens will be great value for money for the customers and Kia India is on the way to reach the fourth spot in terms of Monthly space in India if Mahindra delays launching New Scorpio. Kudos👍👍 to Motowagon for your good work..

Karen's definitely has a killer price tag. I would say those who doesnt need a bulky innova, this is a much better option with a good fuel economy.

Very true friend. In UK also Kia Sorento is killing the 7 seated version. Hyundai and VW are struggling to match them up. They are struggling on sedan side, India also I don’t them coming good with Sedan

Superb analysis bro. Waited for Weekly once podcast, ippa 3 days super bro. Channel is growing and very happy. My mind always had an thought why should i go for SUV like nexon for 15.6 lakhs (when launched top end was 12.3 lakhs only), harrier 23 lakhs, XL6 11.5 lakhs, Creta 19 lakhs and alcazar 23 lakhs even i had all this car in my buying list but once carens pricing shattered my buying list completely and now mind cleared for carens purchase. I didn't mind 5 star in Global Ncap rating and i need vehicle stability management program in base variant itself that's all, even creta base E variant didn't had. Kia definitely brokes suv and mpv category. Hope they increase price a liitle bit affordable only and stay this current pricing atleast for two months.

Sir Initial JAZZ Petrol costs more than 6 Lakhs On-Road in 2009 , so I had to skip JAZZ and went for SX4 Petrol ZXI 8L On-Road which is a SEDAN and much bigger Car. Still I own it and its a Great product.

Carens is placed between the likes of Ertiga and Innova but due to that aggressive indroductory price many think that Ertiga as Carens competitor. But indha introductory price'a kia further innum increase pannuvanga just as what Mahindra did with XUV 700 and Nissan did with their Magnite. Carens might affect the sales of Ertiga a little bit but not that extent because still KIA charges more for their service, spare parts and their dealership network is also limited. Till now in MPV segment Ertiga and Innova are the market leader's for both commercial purpose and personal use now Carens will also hold a perfect position in MPV segment but i can't imagine Carens for commercial purpose. And yes Mahindra should rework their Marazzo and launch it again it's such a good product and Mahindra should not give up that car

Really enjoying the pod cast.. For the past 2 years I was wondering why don't companies give all safety features in base varient so that I can give the car to my wife to take the kids to school and here comes kia.. I am ready to spend for safety and not on features such as sunroof.. This is a killer product except for automatic on all varient.

You guys do an amazing job of excellent review to reach even common people. I was only expecting the pricing to be more closer to Alkazar, being a sister concern. In which case this product would have fallen flat being close to the big brother Innova. Kia had great sense to not only kill Ertiga, but many other cars as well with this pricing. Also first time I am seeing petrol and diesel at same price from any manufacturer

Yes but 1.5l Diesel and the 1.4l Turbo Petrol are of same cost not the 1.5l Petrol which is 2lacs cheaper then the previous both.

@@prjawahar5879 Yes but if you see that chart the Turbo Petrol and Diesel variants are the same price but not the naturally aspirated Petrol engine. Whereas Turbo Petrol and Diesel are 2lacs costlier than the naturally aspirated Petrol.

Somehow it is misses that, KIA has killed bookies (Waiting for delivery) of their own product lineups like SONET & SELTOS, which are look like more expensive as on TODAY. 😄😄😄😄

Really good insights and detailed discussion... Really Carens play a roller coaster across the manufacturers not only MPV segment but also mid-size SUV and Sedan... From a general perspective, are these safety features failed to improve our driving capabilities? Of course, it is good for safety, but when you park the vehicle with PA and you don't learn the proper parking abilities in the non-PA vehicle and same for driving in the slopes (up/down), we learned that skill after some attempts but because of these features, we may drive the good car but not as a GOOD DRIVER... Your Opinion?
