What's the point of testing with 80 km/hr? Please do some rationalistic speed of 120 km/hr. That gives a realistic range. Nobody goes on 80 km/hr on long drives.
If the speed was 70, I am sure the range would be even higher. We could see the difference between 90(172wh/km) vs 80(133wh/km) already within this video itself. Dear Gaurav, some more stats like the overall efficiency against each charge session and the speed and mode used might help educate users about how the range is affected by speed.
Sure. If the speed for 50 range would be even higher. But the idea is to have more practical test. This is a powerful car, and if you enjoy it and drive like you would normally drive a powerful diesel, it typically gives 5.2-5.4 km/kwh on highway. Realistically you have to start looking for a charger every 350 kms.
@@talamascaxsi agreed. For many 350 between charges is more than enough. That too a car that is this powerful will demand some speeding. But it is good to know how to extract range in emergencies, where towing the car is only other alternative if driven fast. It’s been helpful for me where I was able to bypass chargers just because I drove conservatively. If it is for fun, then no point in driving slowly. For every other case keeping a safe highway speed while extracting max range has more benefits.

one big reason for range drop during rain is not the usage of wiper or anything, it's the friction increase, your vehicle needs more power to wade through water and go through. I would suggest, you stick to the highway speed limit for your range tests not go below 70 to achieve, otherwise folks will believe you can achieve 600 and drive above speed limit to be only disappointed.
Mr Gaurav Yadav idea of taking KIA EV6 from Jaipur to Jalandhar via Gurgaon route was excellent thinking of route mapping to test actual range but you missed the key points of travel via EV to claim your travel per km - ₹ 0.80 paise 1. Cost of initial charging at which KIA dealership at Gurgaon. 2. Arriving at Jaipur from old route require to pay toll taxes for travel which you forget to show till Jalandhar half way as rain strike with range not helping you to reach your destination. 3. Route map of exact point A to point B was not mentioned at all. 4. Where you have charged the car in Ludhiana city dealership of KIA not mention at all. 150 KW fast charger facility they provide. 5. When last distance left in battery juice of 54 km where you take stop for quick top up as last closing line saying you crossed Punjab state easily and vlog ends in Ambala.
The route we followed is this 1) Gurgaon to Jaipur via Mumbai Expressway (Dausa) to Jaipur BMW Sanghi Classic 2) BMW Sanghi Classic Jaipur to Ambala via 152D, Ludhiana, crossed Ludhiana via Bypass towards Jalandhar, taken u-turn with 50 KM range remaining (similarly to the distance to Jalandhar), crossed Ludhiana back and charged the car at food court situated at the Ludhiana entrance (On GT Road) For .80 Paise/km claim, if u are charging the car at your home charger, you can drive the car for just .80/km for your 500+ KM trip.

Ye to sahi hai. But mai just 10 ki Altroz diesel uthaya hai with sunroof. 23 ka mileage. Ev6 70 lakh ki hai. Mai altroz me 60 lakh ka diesel daalne ke pehle swarg sidhar lunga 😂😂.
