No idea m8. My video from the world Premiere was the most successful worldwide, but Fisker did not consider me on any further activities. I even talked to Henrik personally about this, but nothing seems to change
I'm from Teslaland so I'm not smart enough to drive the BMW with 2 pedals and all the buttons/UI. Also I'm photosensitive so I can't handle glare from the crystal controls.
What you don’t mention in this video is that both the Polestar 3 and Volvo EX90 have received lower trims after launch. The new base EX90 starts at 83k and the p*3 at 89k
Again an excellent and informative video from your hand, Thomas. Being a grey-haired male at 61, I would definitely go with the Audi Q8 e-tron. With the proper black styling and indeed in the Thomas Blue color(I believe Audi calls it Ultra Blue😏)I think it is a stunning-looking car that drives like a "real" car, and hence with a genuine Audi driving feeling. The Audi probably isn't as good an EV as some of the other contenders but 410-420km at highway speed isn't all that bad. At my age, I anyhow need to pee, have a coffee, stretch my legs, or have a currywurst after 3 to 4 hours of continuous driving and a charging stop is in this case the perfect opportunity. And with 22kW charging at one's home charger, your daily EV life will probably not be influenced much by the Audi's lesser EV capabilities. So again being a sucker for esthetics and a both comfortable and dynamic Audi driving experience with a reasonable EV driving range, the Audi is for me.
Thank you, Thomas! Your outcome and conclusions align perfectly with mine 😊 for the same reasons, I bought EV9 GT-Line. The car is already produced, and I'm waiting for it to be delivered to Finland. This should happen by the mid-November. Thanks for your great job!
@autogefuehl I will, for sure. I will make a small video or something to share with you, along with my experience. I was the first to order EV9 in Finland. We bought EV6 for my wife (first Kia), and I was impressed with the quality, ride, materials, tech.. everything (still, there are things to improve). Couldn't resist EV9 😉
@O990l6mh Congratulations! When yours is coming? What trim did you decide to go with? Do you guys get a digital grill in Sweden (we don't)? I ordered GT-Line with all the bells and whistles, but we can't order a few things in Finland. Digital grill, camera mirrors, electric 3rd row, and Highway Driving Pilot are unavailable. But I took captain chairs with relaxation mode 😎
I like how the polestar 3 delivers really good seating comfort an leg room for both front and rear passengers. There comes a point that customers don’t need a vehicle with a third row so the polestar 3 is a great offering. The model X has great integration of the instrument cluster in the dash. The yoke steering wheel is too gimmicky and the lack of physical gear shifter/switch is impersonal.
Seriously, Thomas? 80 years of kidneys is a beaver??? BMW have brand valuation of $25 BILLION, how much of that is due to beaver? & pls. Google Korean recalls, MILLIONS of units, some 4 🔥 hazard.
I saw an EQE SUV today parked right in front of my gym. Awkward looking EV from the outside. However, that interior is BEAUTIFUL. Interior colors were a blend of salmon pink (could've been really light tan. The overcast made it look salmon pink) and White. Very elegant. It's also A LOT taller than I thought it'd be. Kind of wish the owner was inside so I could've asked him/her for a tour of the interior. I've also seen several Taycans, Etron GT's, and Lucid in my area. All really nice EVs.
I've driven all of them except the Volvo/Polestar pair where there was no possibility yet. EV9: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JHYgKv2zYcE.html
I'm going to take a look. But still, that's a video done a month after this comparison, so that experience isn't reflected here. Anyhow, I feel a bit click-baited watching a quite lengthy video just to get a summary based on half facts.
No Audi looks sporty however it is over priced (starts at 150k) recently bought my parents one. Me personally I would go for the ix, cheap suv (starts at 70k) but not ugly like a Tesla
Weird comparison since the EQE has smaller interior space than a Model Y. The Model Y should’ve been on the list. Also, since the Model X is on this list, the EQS should’ve been on this list. Maybe the Model X is in the wrong segment perhaps. It’s a full 6-7 seater compared with only 5 seaters. Audi, Mercedes and BMW are definitely not offering anymore than the Kia. The E-GMP platform has earned its spot and also makes you question the existence for these luxury makers. Don’t worry, we’ll get a Chinese variant of these European makers soon!
EQS SUV is longer than the Model X Model Y is more against BMW iX3, Mercedes EQB, Audi Q4 e-tron. I picked the segments according to the exterior length
@@autogefuehl at least you didn't pick them by the shape of the clouds this morning. As very few of us are sheiks or people with similar fortunes, everything that you compare should be relative to the price or might as well switch to doing this in arabic :) also I can't believe you did a comparison video where half the cars are undriveable and without an official pricing.
Just because it’s longer doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have been in this comparison. Also the Model X has more interior space than the EQS SUV, offers more seats and better interior packaging. It definitely belongs here. The Model Y goes squarely against the EQE, not the EQB. Those aren’t even competitive on any level, not even price. I understand the German car industry is shrinking and dying a slow death but let’s be fair with where the Model Y and X comparing against the EQE and EQS because if anyone were to cross shop a Tesla with another EV, those would be the ones in their respective category. No one is cross shopping an EQB with a Model Y. Let’s be more objective than this.
Why BMW iX over Polestar 3 if price doesn't matter? Won't Polestar 3 offer a more modern software experience, better range, faster charging and also have the luxury features like air suspension, massaging seats, B&W sound, etc.
True, BMW iX has good consumption figures. But I think Polestar 3 has most of the features BMW has but in addition to that I think the software experience will be better. Also, subjectively, it looks much better exterior wise. So for me it feels like Polestar 3 is the better car if price is not a factor.
@@ariadneWoWdonde ves que el software del polestar es mejor que el del BMW? Por que…. Actualmente el BMW tiene el software más avanzado en cuanto a conducción autónoma…..
Thomas, if you are familiar with Matt from carwow, he also adds or shares a lot of sexual references to his reviews. Doesn't bother me, I'm a musician. So, yeah, back in the day we/I had some fun. But I wish your camera girl would take care of you.:)
The quality of finnish and the suspension and road noise make the Model X feel more like a 50.000-60.000 euro car. Not a 100.000+ Steering feel is like driving a Fiat Ducato and the tesla seat is as bad as it gets in terms of adjustment. Powertrain is nice, but isnt worth the price. Defdinetly the worst Tesla in the lineup considering price.
@@lordkorner build quality, meterials and fit&finnish is far superior in Kia over a Tesla. It’s not even close. Go check them in flesh and you will be shocked how bad the Model X is built compared to the EV9. The seats in EV9 are one of the best in car industry has ever seen. Super good adjustment and the general shape and softness.
@@breehuynh8836Short term issue since by this time next year Kia owners will have use of the Tesla charging network too, including retroactive current owners. Also only matters for road trips since most charging is done (more economically) at home.
As a Tesla owner, I honestly feel it’s a mistake to let other EV makers use the Tesla network. That’s one of the main reasons why folks choose Tesla. Mistake on teslas part? Maybe I’m missing something.
Sorry but these 3 are on another level in terms of quality and luxury BMW iX, Mercedes EQE SUV, Audi Q8 e-tron...The rest doesnt come close and having a 0,1 second faster time or few miles more range wont comparte them to these 3
You just have not tried the Xpeng G9 or the Kia EV9. I drive a Mercedes GLC and I have tried the Xpeng G9. Quality is higher in the Xpeng G9 I am sad to inform you.
