My first car Polo TDI 2013, only expense is oil change, ABS sensor change and Shock absorber change at 10 years. But any service will cost about minimum 9-10K Rs.

Recently I was traveling I was using Toyota Corolla and Toyota Etios, I felt these car very light compared Hyundai, Kia cars. Suprised to know these cars are 4 stars rated.
Honda ne bhi apple ki tarah spare parts pe patent kr dia ha. It means agar koi part kharab ho jaaye to company he jana padega. Koi mechanic use khol nhi paayega. Most of the mechanics Honda ki cars ko dekhte he mana kr dete ha.

Question: German cars giving 4 years service warranty + extended service beyond 4 years or so. Doesn’t that become economical to maintain one say over 5/6 years?
My first car was a second hand Skoda and I don't regret buying it because that made me understand how important it is for you to go a choose a right car according to your preferences and my next car was a VW because the feel and assurance Skoda gave me nothing even came close maybe Honda came near but I still preferred German.

Yaar MG jinhone le rakhi hai unko pata chal chuka hai ki Ghar Mai sote rehne wala haathi hai yeh. Baithake rakho aur kharcha paani bhi do. MG cars not at all recommended in Indian conditions.
@@ranadeepacharya4178 Who told u that? My cousin owns MG and thats his daily drive. Its a hector diesel, even I hv driven it and it gives overall 14-15kmpl. Considering your statement, then fortuner is also an elephant and isnt suited for Indian roads, but u can see fortuner is everywhere bro. It just depends from person to person.

Term the simplicity, saying if you are going for a first car and you don't have much experience in driving... you are not going to go for highway more often than not... and budget is under 10 lakhs Go for Maruti... without listening to anyone else... If your budget is 15 lakhs and you want to but a relaible first car go for Honda city... go for Tata only if you want compact Suvs... If your budget is 15-25 lakhs I am sure you are not a first car owner and a experienced driver.. Go for Mahindra... Above it go for Fortuner.. Ford has left the market otherwise you could have bought any Ford car in the price segment and would never regret... Hyundai, Kia, MG are for buyers who are just show off... Skoda Wolkswagon is for them who are overenthusiast and are ready to pay almost same amount of car as service cost in 10 year run. My pick is Unders 10 Lakh - Maruti Under 15-17 lakh - Sedan Honda city /others Tata Under 25 lakh - Mahindra Above 40- Toyota and others Special mention on Ford which is not available anymore.. If you are a second hand buyer go for Ford cars you will get it in kuch lower price than it is supposed to be with running span of 8-10 years as they are still going to provide services and spare sparts...

No every brand has their own moto regarding manufacturing whether its national/international. Japanese brands hv different mindset than Koreans and Germans vice-versa. Toyota uses badging of Suzuki in India . But they are not into hatchback segment in India. Nahito Aaj Every company would hv provided same class of engines and Gearboxes by just tieups.

Actually your wrong Hyundai is worst then Maruti in Safety. If you see in older protocols Maruti Swift had better overall safety score then Hyundai I10 Nios. Maruti WagonR got more safety score than Hyundai Santro and had better chest protection. Currently Maruti Alto K10 which is a entry level car has got 2 stars with stable platform in new and stricter global protocols whereas not even a single Hyundai car tested in India has got stable platform. Maruti Brezza has 4-stars with stable platform and is capable of taking further loadings according to Global Ncap while much expensive Hyundai Creta has got borderline 3 stars with unstable platform. Maruti Ertiga with 2 airbags and Kia Carens with 6 airbags both got 3 stars in safety. Anyday Maruti is better in Safety than Hyundai.
