Agree with the review, this is better than Wigo or Brio especially in terms of NVH in the highway. I still own a 2015 1.2L EX A/T kia picanto with 110k odo, been my daily driver from Binan to Makati and vice versa. It's actually weird that I find it more fun to drive than my 2020 montero sport gls, well except in overtaking 10 wheeler trucks. LOL
A very elegant, thoroughly detailed, and professionally executed car review presented by a really eloquent and talented reviewer that outperforms many top american and european car reviewer/youtubers giving them a run for their money and then some. Top notch !!
Hey Mate! Nice Review! Wish you get more views and subs! Your Voice is very nice and the way of presenting is easy to grasp. and the Review is very well balanced!
If this Picanto had been around in 1964 it would have thrashed the Mini Cooper S and won the Monte Carlo Rally! I have the UK 3 spec.1.25L auto. 3 years old and 27,000 miles. No rattles or squeeks despite the very firm jostly ride. 35 MPG (15 km per litre) is more real world than the 48 MPG of the manufacturer literature.
Noticed ko din po yan na baka yung 2021 dumating soon. Wla pa nman mga leakages about 2021 Picanto to be released in PH pero sa other asian countries available na sya like Malaysia, Korea at sa Europe ata available na din then sa Australia especially yung GT Line or rebranded din as X-Line.
I prefer picanto than other hatchbacks of other brands. Yung binuaog ka ng Kia sa Picanto nila. I also like that engine temp gauge. You can't see that on other budget meals. Windows are enough that you won't find yourself being in a claustrophobic environment.
A cigarette lighter! Goes to show how conservative the maker is. Gandalf, Frodo, Merry, Pippin, Sam and myself would love a cigarette lighter! Picanto owner here for 6 years now, and my baby hasn't given me a headache. So far, just the aux fan and it's readily available. No headache.
Both are great cars. You can't go wrong either way. Personally though, I prefer the driving dynamics of the Picanto mainly because the Brio uses a CVT which causes a bit of lag and the rubber band effect when pushing it hard.
