It almost looked like after he removed the climate control panel that you could reach in a disconnect the aux port piece and replace it... that’s what I’m hoping
You make it look so easy...believe me it is not... I have a 2011 Soul Base....and I got those tools and I am going to have to take it to a shop, because If I break something I will be pissed at myself...and my Soul is perfect as from day 1.... I'd really like to know If that panel was removed first prior to the video...because somebody must of superglued that SOB in from the factory! lol
You said everything seemed to be working except there was no sound output. Did you ever figure out what was the issue? I'm having that same problem. Even the front light up speakers work as if sound is coming out but no sound output. Thanks for this video I used it to take my stereo out.
Xj Man So when you took out the stereo did it give you any issues with the airbag? Since they said it's near the stereo. And were you able to replace the stereo without any issues?
im doing the same thing just now do you recall whether the radio had any fuse and what amp rating in the slot next to the 3 power connecters? mine was empty upon removal.
i just have orange background and but is not displaying the information like radio station etc . but i can hear radios. may be a fuse? any reset button
Hello, My GF's radio died. Wanted to replace it with a Jenson VX3022. But unlike your example, she has one solid piece as a face plate. Will I have to do some surgery to make this work. IT has been years since I used to swap car stereos. Back then everything was rectangular and dash stuff wasn't integrated. She has this one? cars.usnews.com/static/images/Auto/custom/11948/2012_Kia_Soul_66.jpg
My deck doesn’t even light up. But then, for one day, it came on! But no sound. Then, it went off and I haven’t seen it since. I sure hope it’s just a loose connection.
