@@johnreeves6217 It depends on what journey you're doing. Short stop start journeys can be as low as the high 20s, on a longer journey where the engine warms up properly and its a bit more free flowing expect high 30s to low 40s and on a long run driven sensibly I've got mid to high 40s. It's certainly not the choice for economy but is powerful, good for towing and comfortable and I guess it depends what your base of comparison is. My partner previously had a diesel 7 series so is over the moon with the economy. I had a 1.5 dci Qashqai which averaged 10-15mpg more but was less powerful and blew its turbo at 35k miles. The Kia has a higher driving position, better interior and useful extras like opening panoramic roof, ventilated seats and heated steering wheel and a bigger boot, the Qashqai had 360 cameras which are genuinely useful. Overall I prefer the Kia, it is a bit firmer and less comfy seats (still comfy but the Qashqais are great) but it feels much better built and I think will last longer. I've not really noticed the benefits of AWD drive yet being a hot dry summer but hopefully it will come into its own in the winter and when we holiday in Scotland.
