@@nqobilemahlaba2230the car is expensive as is, I don't think RS3 badge would change the price much. And the three rings on the front and steering wheel are black, they need to be silver, it's like camouflage when black.
What I am happy with is that they kept the 5cyl engine ! Design is cool. And the next good thing is that they kept the hvac controls in a separate display with physical buttons.
@@justinbecker4772 I always thought that was the weak part of the pre face lift exterior, but to be honest I like it a bit better than the facelift. Something about the proportions of the rear diffuser looks off to me (not as badly with a dark paint color though). Idk, maybe looks better in person
Coming from a 2018 Golf R if Audi would bring the RS3 Sportback to the US there’s a very good chance that would be my next car. The hatchback makes this car the best of all worlds with amazing performance and driving dynamics and an incredibly practical vehicle. My Golf R is such a usable fun vehicle but I’ve outgrown it a bit. If I could take the identical practicality and improve the performance and luxury it’d be my perfect vehicle. I promise I’m far from the only American that feels that way. The sedan version is so tiny with so little usable space it might as well be a roadster. That one is a non-starter for me. I feel like Audi is missing a massive opportunity by not making the RS3 Sportback available in the US. I didn’t want to get above 6 figures for my next car but now I’m looking at BMW XM3/4 or Macan GTS.
I had the 8V, too soft looking and the interior now looks very dated. Driving position was poor and it handled like a golf. Now have the 8Y, my God what a difference. Ten times better to drive and looks so much better. I never got a second glance with my nardo 8V, but my Tango Red 8Y just gets gorped at all day long by people. Stop living in the past and get the new RS3.
Current 8y owner, I think the only thing I that surprised me is the new design of rear bumper & diffuser. To be honest, it looks much better than the 8y
I bought an S3 a few months but have been looking forward to the new RS3 reviews. I live in the south east of England and have managed 27 mph on average since I got the car. I wonder if the RS3 will get that up, or if I'll still be stuck in traffic jams and hampered by speed cameras, but in a more expensive car.
This is how Audi RS3 should be done, nice job Audi. Proper pocket rocket with subtle but aggressive design love it ❤❤❤ Auto Trader team great video ❤❤❤
I have not been impressed with Audi’s car designs since the 2018 RS7 performance but this brings me back into their cars. Would love to own one of these bad boys
I'll take one in Saloon version... But... I WANT IT in Audi Ara Blue Chrystal Effect (LOVE that colour! 👌) so it's a shame they don't come in that gorgeous glistening blue 😒 😎🇬🇧
Personally I kinda love the new design (not that steering wheel tho) It’s a great face lift and also I love that they didn’t downsize. Idk if I like it more than the previous model tho. Both look p fantastic Also thank god it’s a proper Audi
Our local RS3 drives to and from the town centre several times a day, full accel down the 20mph one way residential street every time. License says B055 too like the guys trying to tick every audi stereotype
WoWsers! Love that Bright Green paintwork and the engine/exhaust noise. Not so keen on those haptic buttons on the steering wheel though or the £50K+ GBP price tag. I'd choose the hatchback but will just have to 'make do' with my i20N..
What is the warranty on these independent shoprepair work? For new Tesla OEM, I believe they come with four years, 80,000 km. Yeah but outside Tesla, OEM packs are ridiculously priced. On Toyota HEVs, it's been reported brand new OEM last the longest.
Yes it's nice I love me prefacelift S3 8y saloon in glacier white the problem with both facelifts S3/rs3 is the badges missing front and badges back not as good ,yes everyone likes blacked out grills on standard car etc too look like rs3/S3 but on these cars should be there it's a statement of what you pay for
Entry level? I had an RS4 and swapped to this, didn't need the extra space anymore and it's faster than the RS4, better to drive as well. Hardly entry level, what ever the fuck that means.
That front grille looks like it’s either had lip fillers or been stung by a wasp! Apart from that, looking pretty good, and let’s all celebrate the continuation of the glorious 5 cyl engine.
So, squircle steering wheel and some tweaked drive modes is all that is new this year? That is kind of disappointing after the s3 picked up some goodies. I hope the price reflects the lack of upgrades.
If they put a better steering response it will be perfect!!!!! and maybe an under 9 sec for 100-200 km/h than 9,4 sec that i achieved with my actual RS3
Don’t dislike it but not a fan of the changes, I think they have ruined to styling a bit. I like the Carbon seats but otherwise not a fan of the rest of the upgrades, hoping if it drives better with the new software that we will be able to upgrade the software on the current one
Doesn't need it. Hits 60mph in well under 4s and 180mph top end. Speed limit in UK is 70mph and most of the time, you're stuck behind other cars. Only time you can use the power is to overtake or for as long as it takes to come up behind a line of slower moving cars.
The front grill takes up the entire front end (again). The exhaust area of the rear end looks out of place and almost bulbus. The interior has way too much going on. Piano black center area with no physical shifter again. A squircle steering wheel? Touch capisitive buttons? But why?.... lights are cool, though.
