I've narrowed down my retirement vehicle to either a RAV4 or a Sportage. I don't want a lot of extras that could cost me later. The most important thing to me is reliability. I use to laugh at Kia for being one of the most unreliable vehicles sold. After doing lots of research I learned the Kia Sportage is ranked fairly high on most top ten lists. I kinda like the quirky styling and you get more options for less money compared to the RAV4. However 187hp is only adequate for such a heavy vehicle and the MPG is affected by this. The RAV4 has more power and better gas milage. However it has it's own problems. I can't wait till we can order what we want online after visiting a showroom. I'm getting tired of car companies holding paint, wheels and leather for ransom so you'll by a higher trim level and get other things you really don't want. I also don't want a bunch of dealer addons that are nothing short of bullying people to spend more on unnecessary junk. Looking forward to a better future with the freedom of choice.
