strange. i looked at the schematics and the blue wire should work. Is the door unlocked when you press the unlocked key from the remote???? If it is unlocked there is a wiring difference and you could try the unlock wire (orange) instead of the lock wire (blue) to the green wire of the module.

If it doesnt help, switch back to the bliue and test some more. Also do a small test drive. Make sure the mirrors dont fold when you reach a speed of 25 km/hr. Since snow occurs in finland i suggest you also install a rocker switch between the green wire to disable the auto fold in winter otherwise damage may occur to the motors when the mirrors are deeply frozen.

No, the mirrors will open when you go into the ACC mode with the key, not when you press open on the remote.

If the mirrors are folding electrically by pushing a button it will work. If you have to fold the mirrors by hand, it does not work.

If you have a button inside your kia sportage to fold the mirrors, it work. If you have to fold the mirrors by hand on the outside of the car, this does not work. You need motorized mirrors.

I have bought mine at aliexpress.com, search for kia sportage mirror fold. The shop i had chosen was obd club. Price was 25 euro and free shipping. I have had no problem at all since installation. Last week i thought it would be a good idea to switch the unit of when i expect snow. I do not want the mirrors unfold when a lot of snow is on the mirrors because it would be bad for the motors. So i have installed an extra switch in the green wire and put it into the door panel. This way i can shutdown the folding device in case i do not want the mirrors to fold when i lock my car. This also works great. So just put an extra switch in the green wire only.

Wherr did u buy thr extra green switch and will it work for mazda ?

+Tarek Taher I just installed a generic rocker switch. in this case a 16 mm round rocker switch wich i put in the green wire. I think this will NOT work with Mazda. The cables and connections are specific for Kia. For Mazda you should find another video.

yes, then you have the first type unit without grey wire. see 1:25 in the video.

@@robo694 My kit have 2 wires: green and grey. I risolve the problem. The green wire with orage The grey wire with blu.

Op 1:05 zie ik idd een tweede draad die naar de accu zou moeten gaan. Ik heb echter geen ervaring met de units met die tweede draad. Zat er geen beschrijving bij en werkt het niet gewoon als de draad niet wordt aangesloten?

the car already have a driver side fold button; so the folding motor already exist in the mirrors.
