Using it..rather enjoying it for more than 3 months now..almost 4000 driven..long/ short drives, critics can say what they want too, everyone has his/her own opinion...! Its such an amazingly wonderful vehicle...loving it to the full...! Comfortable, quality product, packed with features with decent fuel economy..! Stonic is simply.. "LOVE"...! ❤️
Suneel sir has said right cuz i have this and i love this car although the price is high ...people are comparing elantra altis with it .....they are totally opposite from it ...they are sedan this is a crossover .....this is not underpower at all ...we've travelled towards lahore and many other areas ...this car never let me dissappoint ...spread the positivity of stonic ...❤
Very comprehensive review. In this price bracket I would suggest Altis special edition as it has more resale value, service network and powerful engine for a smooth drive in city as well as high ways. The extra features in stonic should be appreciated however they may not be as much necessary as the smooth driving, trunk space and rear seats comfort is required.
its better to buy 1.8 altis cvt transmission as it has prominent improvement in gear transmission....there is nothing special in altis se than a sunroof
A thousand reasons not to buy this car and go for Elantra grande or others in the same price bracket 1. Inferior build quality than sportage 2. Extremely Underpowered on highways 3. Cramped leg space on backseats 4. Rather go for a bigger sedan than a small crossover (it really feels like a Suzuki swift inside ) 5. Totally crazy price, not justified at all 6. Expensive parts 7. This car totally fails to justify its existence, you can nearly match the experience with Suzuki swift but if you are spending this kind of money i would still re emphasise on buying an Elantra or others as they are miles better in their drive, comfort and overall capacity and practicality

I thing new swift also has similar features other then sunroof and price differencial is too much. Dont agree with crossover category car, small im size and output also underpowered. Effectively its just slightly lifted in height but as suneel bhai himself said seating capacity is compromised.
Rightly said. Don't know why Kia is marketing it as SUV. Even Sportage is not an SUV. It a crossover. And stonic doesn't even have passenger space in the back.
Not really i mean its initially worth it but kia is known for its high maintenance cost plus the legroom in the back seemed like a real con its just that the price drop is so steep that this car suddenly became very attractive
After spending 4.5 million you get cramped up rear seating space is plain and simple "Pathetic". Felt that Suneel Munj is trying to sell this car by highlighting the minor features it has and ignoring the glaring shortcomings in this car
In your opinion leg space at rear may matter. But for me it's not an issue. Mainly kids sit there. So build quality and reliability is the main reason for me. Everyone has his own opinion . Make your own RU-vid channel and start uploading man

Mainly people buy SUVs for road presence and size which this car fails badly. Moreover, the comfort and handling of sedans cannot be compared with SUVs.

In 2024, it is a great car, Elantra, sportage, grande, tucson, civic Peugeot are too expensive to be comparing with stonic. If your budget is below 6 million, stonic is the best option. Stonic is capable of climbing on mountains easily, overall only previous SUV owners will feel lack of backseat space. I am thinking of purchasing stonic, as soon as my previous car sells
Very honest review but i will differ in opinion at two points. I drove all the way from Gwadar to Hyderabad. We were driving between 140-170km/h and the average was 13.8km/L. Cruising at 120km/h gives perfect 15km/L. 2nd place, the cabin space! You were injust in your opinion. It has exactly the same cabin space as it is in MG HS! You push the seat at max level which no one does. You stretched your arms and could hardly reach at stearing and puched the seat backwards. Otherwise the back space is way too spacious.
Agreed. The car gives more range in adjusting the seats this is the reason the back space gets a bit cramped. However it's the best car for value. FTW!
in this comment section people is talking about that stonic is under power which is true but stonic also have a tiptronic transmission so people who are buying stonic no need to worry,but you should know how to use tiptronic transmission....

But it's very small car to compare with mg zs and 2008.while zs and 2008 are big crossover suv than stonic. Stonic is like crossover hatchback. It's looks are not even like a proper crossover 😐 it's true competitor is baic x25 in my concern 😅 but although it's a good car NYC review 👍 dimensions wise I think the perfect competitor is swift or vitz ☺️👍
I am literally in between Civic 10th Generation and Kia Stonic . Kis stonic Ex+costs me around 53-54 lacs Zero metre where as Civic 2021 model in used condition costs me around 63 lacs . Means i have to pay 10 lacs more for the used civic of 3 years old model . What should i go for , Civic or Stonic , Remember stonic will save my 10 lacs and it will be Brand new as compared to Civic. kindly suggest

Just don't get why you are trying so hard to justify the price. They are charging 4.5 million for a 1.4l hatchback ( no way this is an SUV). Understand your preference for a conventional handbrake but not having an electronic handbrake is a downside and thanking them for that is a bit selfish from your side. Engine wise and space wise this car can't compete with the likes of City, Yaris, and Alsvin, who all are way cheaper than Stonic. I think stonic is in the same category as swift. It may be a better overall car than swift but huge difference in price makes swift a much better option. Generally like most of your reviews. Hard to agree with this one though
Agreed in an expert review one shouldnt add his personal opinions but rather should tell the truth clearly, so many civic are on the roads some have even done 150k kms, ever heard of a electronic brake problem . ..
Mechanical hand brake will always b more reliable and durable than electonic. Personally id prefer doing a little bit of human effort to apply hand brake And just use my feet on the brake pedal during signal stops. These shahkas add more to the laziness than to the comfort. Price is questionable but people nowadays are buying a used 2k19 aqua for that price. Its more "safe & secure" than rolla and shaaper as it has 6 airbags and front n rear sensors (not even elentra has that many). And every part of it is imported to be assembled here so the build quality is top notch. And it has nearly the same power and torque to weight ratios as a 1.6 altis x so its not underpowered at all. It goes 180 eaisly. It also gives respectable city fuel economy of 14 and 18 on motorway
@@yasirwaheed5408 there also issues of mechanical handbreaks like the wire breaking and other issue, and about the laziness point, new cars with mechanical handbreaks have quite soft ones barely needing any force, and the problems are almost equal in both for for me its EPB
Having test driven Stonic, Peugeot 2008 & Swift, i found backseats of Stonic and Swift to be almost equal. Peugeot 2008 has the worst space and the most awkward sitting posture for a driver over 6 ft tall. I personally feel that Suneel Sahab's driving seat is not adjusted according to his height leaving small room in the back. I think if you back up driver's seat completely, a person having height of 5'6 or less can easily sit otherwise, no.
Suneel bhai is average heighted person yet he always adjust the front seat on its most backward position ... then shows that the car has limited space for rear passengers..

I think city aspire 1.5 more luxurious then this stonic. 38 lac vs 46 lac...8 lac difference as well... Point that attracts city aspire r.. 1..back seat more spacious 2.back AC vent 3..CVT transmission which beat Altis 1.6 as well. 4...duo to cvt fuel averge of city around 18 to 20 on highways 5..resale value
