Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade (2020 - present) - New Battery Install 

Just changed mine with no battery saver. I believe if you change the battery quickly, i.e. only leave disconnected without a battery for a few mins you will be fine. That was my experience.

My husband just switched out my 2020 palisade battery today and when we started up the car, my headlights turn on even when twisted to the “off” position on the turn signal lever. The only way to get them off is if I put the lights in “auto” mode. Any ideas??

You forgot to put back the protective cap on the negative terminal 😃

Positive side did not come off that easy.
