ID hangout together so much that they are probably like a family at this point and don't have the shyness between each other that JP and EN members do because they usually don't hangout as much irl
JP mems actually DO meet each other quite often, but it's not like THE WHOLE 6 GENS of JP can ALL bond so closely with each other like ID does 😂 ID only have 9 mems total, JP branch is so big already that even if 9 JP mems (~2 gens) ARE close with each other, it could still feel like "JP isn't very close with each other"
CONTEXT ON THE CHEER: There was this staff that is constantly so nice and sweet to the ID dating back to a year ago so we decided to make a fanclub for them (led by me lol) and we did the Indonesian soccer chant but replaced it with their name to welcome them since they came all the way to the super far venue when they didnt actually have to just to greet us STAFF-SAN SAIKOUU!!! edit: we're printing tshirts and have the logo ready
Also we IDs suck at ending gatherings. Once a gathering is over, we'd hang around and talk for like 15 - 30 mins, and then we move to parking area and stand around and talk for an additional 15 - 30 minutes, maybe more. It's just part of our culture. You'll see this in other countries too.
that just how ID people hanging out, no matter the place, as long as not bothering people so much, we have fun talking aloud with friends and that whole song is indeed a cheer/chant called "yel-yel" from word yell in english, to introduce yourself with hype and high energy or just hyping up the atmosphere with intention to break the ice and surely hyping up the atmoshpehere and having fun
Holo ID is truly a gift. Every Holo branch seems well-screened and well-suited to the agency, but Holo ID is like in a league of their own. I've never seen a more well-rounded group of people, who all get along perfectly, have no problems whatsoever making friends with every other branch, and just in general seem to be right at home in Hololive, as if they were born to do this and are having the time of their lives (which they probably are!).
Well Kobo tell where she find someone she don't know in a table, and she just come to that table and ask who's shes name. And that person not answer but just give Kobo candy.
their family-like bond is just wholesome, i can't even imagine when 1 of them graduate.. HoloID when other vtubers from different agency graduated, they literally are cried out loud like they lost their family member
Well, we ID people are quite easy to socialize with other people, meaning we don't close ourselves off and tend to smile at anyone we meet, even if we have never met before.
JP ppl has this habit of not disturbing other ppl and not sticking out, so ofc they'll keep themself low. EN comes from countries that respect individuality and comfortable distance, so ofc they'll be reserved. Now ID, they put so much importance in togetherness and how to make it fun, so ofc they'll be the loudest one in the room. I hope they don't get misunderstood as being rude, they just wanna make any encounter to be a delightful experience. Makan ga makan asal kumpul!
P sure that as far as the ENs go it's got more to do with sheer distances (eg. Goob and Moom met physically for the first time during this fes) and time/place/occasion considerations, plus many if not most of them are p much living breathing Bocchis particularly around strangers. Going by their descriptions of assorted off-collabs they can actually get very hyper and rowdy when it's just them getting together, even in public.
@@broadbandislife True, although it's also true that individiualism is much more prevalent in western society. I need to emphasize that Asian collectivism is not superior, both have their trade-off. However as you have mentioned JP and EN definitely could get closer as close as anyone else, it's just that self-reliance and independence also means you don't need group comformity that much -- thus group bonding usually happens slower.
@@broadbandislife my emphasize was actually the misunderstood part. Since EN and JP weren't loud then both might seen ID loudness as rude. So I explain that its all just a cultural thing instead of disrespect.
@@zeroyuki92 ...just sayin' but have you looked at like how Advent has been from the get go for ex? And I'm fairly sure most of them haven't even actually physically met each other yet. (I think Rissa's met most in person, not sure about Shiori, but I'm pretty sure the others haven't actually seen each other IRL.) It's different sociocultural standards of what's seen as "good behaviour in public" by and large, putting aside how many of the EN girls are high-octane shrinking lilies around strangers and thus disinclined to make themselves conspicuous in the first place. Remember the comparison someone made with a class trip? I think it's a perceptive one, and near as I'm aware in pretty much every western society that's distinctly one context where being loud and excited in public is taken as if not necessarily particularly _appropriate_ then at least _expected and understandable_ conduct.
wdym "when together in japan?" they're ALWAYS like that 😂 also, i feel like this is that natural extrovertedness that comes from being born in a big country with a lot of people. they always know how to be the life of the party.
They don't have boundaries anymore, they can actually insult and cursed right on each other's face if they want, it doesn't take that much time for ID to get to that point. That's why they are so hyper and prolly dont even realize it until someone scold them.
Yeah, it's so sad. Niji ID was truly a family. Even now, the graduated members are STILL HANGING OUT with each other in their PL channel. That's how you know they're genuine friends who love each other.
you know, i don't think there are "shyness" among id member anymore, considering they have no problem even taking bath together yep, i still remember that bathroom twitter space good times...good times
Hohoho They're not ready for a latin american branch ID might be asian, but i'm sure they'd get along with us pretty damn well 😂 As a mexican, i can tell you hahaha
As ID, I have always been wanting an ES branch. It's kinda weird to only have JP (the mecca of both anime and vtuber culture) and EN (branch for the language that most of the world use, including us) as sister branches, as ID has never been a strong cultural powerhouse globally. ES is the branch candidate which has the strongest language 'power', has significant anime culture, and numerically sufficient. I'm also sure ES will get along with ID really well if it became a thing, as you said.
Kaela, the propagator of JDON? The one who did a chill after-fes talk while her virtual room is on fire? 😆 Even the less chaotic ID is still chaotic lmao
Hello! ID guy who lives in Japan for some time now (maybe years?? God I forgot how long..) It is always exciting when we have a chance to talk in our native language, cuz most of the time (me in my case) when I speak in Japanese / English during school & work, it takes a toll on my mental, so speaking in my native tongue (especially if that person speaks my regional language/dialect) it gets me very excited, and energetic to the point that I'd think of them as a good friend from our first meeting. Living abroad / working in an environment that requires you to do what you don't normally do takes a lot on you, you know.
The staff that kiara mentioned was kaela because in the stream (Kaela's stream) she said that every EN member thought that kaela was zeta's manager because she's very well dressed and bring laptop everywhere😂
The staff is really staff, and he/she is good staff so the id cheering on her/him . Also I just heard from kobo (her holofest stream) that the staff-san called tabemono hitto by her lol, since the staff constantly offering kobo food
Because ID live very close together (indonesia population despite being so large is very concentrated in a single isle), they have a lot more chances to hang irl, while EN is more spread out between 4 countries on 3 diferent countries and 2 of those countries being huge geographicali and spread out with no easy/cheap transport method like trains
In general that's how usually the south-east asians are Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia they all share the same traits when they are together on certain place it's very cheerful and lively, I'm a Filipino I've work in Japan with other fellow Filipino workers and yes that's usually the impression Japanese get whenever there's a part it always becomes more lively 200% when south-east asians are there..
Oh yes wkwk, and personally as an ID, I think you Filipinos are also the life of the party! There was this event that I was part of, there were people from PH, TH, ML, ID, and also Japan. It was during a break, the ID staff set in speakers and played songs so we can dance to and immediately after, some Filipinos takes in the center stage and sing which then followed by the others from other SEA countries. The people from Japan were honestly experiencing a type of culture shock when that occurs as they said that "We dont do that in Japan, if we do that then we'll be told to keep it down", but in the end, some also dance along albeit shy-ly wkwk Love you guys, greetings from your southern neighbor ❤
I wonder who is the person they cheered for? I dont think its Kaela, because Kiara already saw her. There is a possibility that Kiara just forget Kaela's face (like Kronii does), but hmm.... i dont think so. I hope the ID side tell this particular story.. i wanna know lol 😂
because they sang vivid anthem, my rat it would be someone who responsible/influential on viv:id cruise. Might be managerial, major sponsors, or maybe composer/creative staff. Everything aside, it must be beloved person from ID branch.
As a person from SEA.... usually because some of us want to be heard, we tend to talk louder to grab attention. It is usually unconscious, the others will shut up when someone is louder. So the longer the conversation, the louder we get. We're probably really hated in Japan where they treasure peaceful train rides or restaurant experience.
@@re0798 no man, it's not for attention or something, because we talk in our language in other country, why would we look for attention to people who dont speak our language? We loud because we are truly happy to see our fellow countrymen (or maybe SEA region) in other country. Even if they aren't loud, at least you can feel their happy tone and see their smile.
@@re0798It's the same in Scandinavia where I'm from. We like it quiet and with distance to each other. I don't hate SEA people at all, because I know it's unconscious. I just think it's fascinating how different the social cultures are. Here we just wait for someone to finish talking before talking ourselves.
Well, we ID people are quite easy to socialize with other people, meaning we don't close ourselves off and tend to smile at anyone we meet, even if we have never met before.
@@unknownguyindo4356 uhhh hard disagree. Also, they don’t represent all ID. The one who cheers is just Ollie Risu Iofi. That’s 3 out of 9 ID’s. 6 people are in minority I guess.
@@JaswiL-_51 You said Indonesian. Indonesia are the fourth most populous country in the world. Someone that like it quiet are minority. I'm generally talking about Indonesian as a whole instead of just HoloID.
@@unknownguyindo4356 lets say they are minority, for argument’s sake. Just as you said, they are the 4th largest. So even just the “minority” is still a lot. And honestly, this whole loud/quiet thing is really depending on the circumstances. The “ID girls” are loud when they are together, but when they are not? They’re quiet too, just like the rest of the ID girls.
that just ID energy for ya. we'd just like to hangout even tho there's nothing to celebrate, not even to get wasted and stuff. just some teh telor tapai and banter between each other or just playing games together. we even make a word which solely purpose to refer that activity "Nongkrong"
It's called friendship orange chicken..... When you stop acting like the main character during every interaction people can occassionally be happy to spend an hour or two with you tho......
ID is Indonesia. The country is more restrictive than Japan. So when they are in japan they literary have more "Freedom" They also restrict anime there. Interactions between men and women there. There is a noticeable difference for anime fans and their friends who like anime.
As ID, i dont know what are you talking about..😅 If you compared Indonesia and japan. Japan is more restrictive in many ways. Especially about idol culture. If they already have boyfriend or even husband. They will not get banned in indonesia. Most of all fan is chill about it.
No, you are assuming my bro. I don't think ID is more restrictive than Japan in general. It never has been, it never is, and certainly never will be (except for very specific things that are irrelevant to the context).
