Hello! ID guy who lives in Japan for some time now (maybe years?? God I forgot how long..) It is always exciting when we have a chance to talk in our native language, cuz most of the time (me in my case) when I speak in Japanese / English during school & work, it takes a toll on my mental, so speaking in my native tongue (especially if that person speaks my regional language/dialect) it gets me very excited, and energetic to the point that I'd think of them as a good friend from our first meeting.
