I like how you expedite the instructions and still get the message through. I prefer not to fry the kibbeh. How to blanch them, how much time and any add-ons while blanching? Thks, C.
I appreciate your kind words Cyril 😊 ! Blanching the kibbeh seems simple but it needs a bit of attention. To prevent breakage, freeze the kibbeh balls before blanching in boiling water with a pinch of salt for 2-5 mins. Alternatively, for an easier approach, you can bake them on a tray at 180°C for 10 - 12 mins.
@@Marcabed Thks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated. Your 2-5 mns is rather a large difference in time. If frozen as you recommend, would you go for 2 or 5 mns? Thks, C.
@@cyrilsalibi9288 When dealing with kibbeh, take into account its weight, size, and thickness. Begin by testing first, start boiling the water then add one unit for about 3 minutes. Slice it open, and if the beef inside shows a dark color and is cooked through, it's ready to go ☺️
