I also always thought (though definitely inspired by Adam West) it was a subtle attempt at trying to disguise his identity by altering his speaking patterns

I almost died laughing at the scene where Mark Strong reads the newspaper and realises he killed a kid's entertainer instead of the real Kick Ass.

Chloe Moretz was 13 when the film was released but 12 during filming. I remember a lot of fuss was made over her dropping a c bomb in the film.

This is the best superhero movie in my opinion. I've watched it a dozen times over 10 years. And no one has ever shot it better.

Loved this movie. Feel like it had the perfect balance of a good "superhero" movie and a comedy. Always get a couple laughs, but also some good emotional bits watching this. Shame it's sequel wasn't up to par. Perfect example of why you NEVER mess with a Matt Vaughn movie.

@ 9:44 the actor on the right is Dexter Fletcher, who played John Martin in Band of Brothers. (Weird that I've seen Kick-Ass many times and only just now recognized him)!

I absolutely love this movie, the sequel is just as good in my opinion. sadly there wasn't a 3rd because the 2nd one was like one of the most pirated movie that year so it didn't make much so they cancelled the 3rd one.

2010 or 2009. Its shady subject. Ending titles says its 2009. But in blu ray bonus about music of film they show january 2010 clip when the still mixing sound. But filmed all in 2009
