Hey man. I love your videos. It's really really inspiring. Seeing your progression videos when you literally started from nothing. It's amazing man! :D
The only best progression video for cheat gainer I have found till now. Thanks Kian Williams for motivating me. From now I will watch some of your uploaded videos for my guidence on parkour when opening youtube.
Hey, awesome job learning this move on sand! Sand is much harder to get a good push off of (and thus more air) so you should be able to land it with ease when moving on to grass, mulch, gravel, or concrete.
Really good! I call it a cheat gainer. But a quick tip for you is to keep your legs farther away from each other. So think about giving your feet/legs so space from each other. That is what I do on mine that should help! :)
youre kicking with a bent leg. if you straighten your leg out and point your toes you can get more power out of it. then you also wont have to jump as hard off your left leg. other than that it looks great with your step out. however your j step need huge improvement! try starting on your left leg and go right left right left kick. and when you do the last pivot on your j step turn almost in a 180 toward where you came from, it will make it easier to go over backwards cause you turned away from where your momentum and weight is moving. good luck man! a tricker has been born!!!
Watch the slow mo parts of this vid. See how your foot stops around knee level? And on the ones you landed, your knee went above your waist. You want that knee up a lot higher, and your foot to not stop before at least waist level. It should be higher ideally, but work up to it. Its good, just can get some more height and it'll be a lot easier :)
Thanks so much for pointing that out. This evening I went out as well and tried some and had trouble landing well. I'll work on kicking higher tomorrow. Thanks!
Plz give me some tips to overcome the fear man. Whenever i put the mattress and everything to jump, i stop at the last second. I think i will break my heaD OR SOMETHING. plz help. i'm stuck
just say screw it and do it, thats what i do. Try listening to a upbeat song that pumps you up an gets u jumping around then say screw it and do it without thinking about it
+NinjandTrollz its probably a mental thing (fear of falling and breaking you neck on the thougher grass for example) + training this on sand will also give hem some extra jumppower so when he feels ready to progress to tougher underground he'll also be able to gain more height and speed
For some reason I'm still terrified to do this despite having mastered the standing backflip. I think something about jumping off of one foot and kicking the other throws me off (I guess I'm scared that I won't get enough air using one leg to jump). Any tips to get over this fear?
Don't whip your head back. You want float, not power. You want to kick up, and watch your foot. Keep kicking through whilst swinging those arms and drive both your legs and arms at the same time as each other.
+Jr Odi round off back is mainly focused on momentum so it wont rly help u out that much but if u get a backflip down this move is pretty easy cause its similar to a cheat gainer and since i initially got the backflip down i learned the cheat gainer in like 10-20 minutes so before u try this move u shd learn back or even a 1 footed backflip
Great job dude I'm trying to learn mine I'm just scared to throw it I have been watching tutorials and everything I just can't get over the fear of doing it outside
Here is the difference a cheat gainer is like a little bit horizontal and you're not upside down while a gainer flash is clearly upside down which can go to advance move call gainer switch but both of them take off with a j-step which makes them similar the only difference is the flip and especially the name. (Sorry I'm bad at English Hope I explain well)
You are not kicking diagonally. You are kicking your leg vertically so it ends up as a partial layout backflip. You must kick your leg diagonally towards your opposite shoulder and look over that shoulder with your head.
Most people agree that you definitely should learn backflip first, or you can hurt yourself. Backflips will help you get over the fear of going backwards which will make the kick the moon a lot easier.
