My Uncle (God rest) who was a Karate instructor in New Rochelle New York took me and my cousin to see this movie, we loved it, some of Van Dame's best work.
I'll never forget when I saw this movie. I was 9. It pushed me into Gracie Jujitsu, Bokator/Muay Thai and MMA. I competed in MMA for 14 years. I've never forgotten how this film inspired me to train.

That theme inspired me alot, the first time I watched this movie (vhs) since 12years old and i was in summer holiday. The day my mom brought me home from clinic after circumcision surgery. I still remember it was dreadfully painful after the anesthesia has gone away. I used to watch the training montage of kickboxer to make me feel better and get rid of the pain from my mind. Listening to this every tuesday and thursday on my way to the Dojo. I am only a Japanese Ju Jutsu Yellow belt but boosts my motivation to get better training after training. I Guess that the same state of mind was in the intentions of the composer while doing this theme
