You clearly don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. Buakaw is the goat. Period. Lemme know when “Yi Long” wins the K1 world MAX title two separate times, and should’ve 3-peated; but he yet again got robbed by “split decision” in 2005; so the next year he came back and knocked Andy Souwer’s ass out cold and didn’t leave it in the corrupt judges’ hands. And then he won the back-to-back Thai Fight world championship in 2011 & 2012. Which was like the new big stage promotion at the time when K1 started financially declining…. Buakaw is the goat. Period.

i think for thai boxer they see the fight as a marathon and not a 100 m dash. That's why they always start slow. I'm pretty sure they have already done their full warmup though. just a thought. :p

I think i heard this from FightTips channel, that the reason they start slow is because in the old times the bets were still being made even during round 1. So this tradition just carried out till the present. Or maybe I heard it some place else.

Kinda seems like Buakaw is losing that hunger he had 10 years ago, but he looks even more technical than ever, and his boxing is wayyyy better than in like 2005 for example. I'm in his corner until the day he retires lol. Fanboyism aside, I still don't see how Sittichai is apparently a higher rated fighter, weight class aside. I think Buakaw could drop weight right now and probably still beat him after a good fight. But once again, idk if he's really losing that hunger or if it's just experience and age taking over and he's just more relaxed

Sittichai is a way better fighter now than Buakaw now . Sittichai beat the best non-thai in the World in both Muay Thai and kickboxing , Baukaw is on his retiremant tour LOL .

As far as combat sports... Buakaw and Saenchai are the greatest of all time in my opinion. Then It's Floyd and a whole bunch of boxers like Hagler, Tyson, Jones, Hopkins, Crawford, Canelo, Spence Jr. Then if you look at MMA it's Pitbull,Khabib and Jon Jones. As far as grappling it's just Gordon Ryan. Wrestling is a toss up but I feel like Kyle Dake is the most dominant.

First time watching this one.. best weapon out of open stance always your power side.. believe Kong would've faired better if he matched Buakaw's rear kicks. Kong is tough as shit tho he ate a lot of HARD head kicks, insane

it didn't land on his head, Buakaw didn't aim for his head anyway, only those who drop their hands will get knocked out like that, this kick is purposely to destroy the opponent's backhand, and because it's so fast and powerful, he doesn't have to worry about getting counters.

if buakaw's knee did get to his crotch then it should be longer time to endure it i think the knee got to the belly if the kong dude didn't fake the crotch strike he would have been knock'ed out..
