U should definitely do the big 3 upgrade especially in a Acura. Alot of electronic sensors that need there power lights dimmin means the car is dying for power
Funny story I didn't even make it up a mile after I wired everything up. Alternator light came on.. lol. Needless to say I did a alternator replacement and a big three even upgraded the power line on the alternator.. she good now...🤣
That is a very impressive build! Someday I hope my skills are on that level. Yeah I can build a badass custom box but I can’t do anything like that with panels and that perfect fitment. I also love that he used kicker products especially the L7 Q class. I love those subs. Very very impressive.
My 2013 Dodge Challinger Same custom box 4th order but 2 10' Kickers Q Class ..RF T1500-1BDCP.... An my other ride 2007 H-2 Hummer Kicker Q Class L-7 Single 15 dual 2 ohm tune 32 HTZ ... ARC AUDIO X2-2500.1
Definitely a nice custom set up there , love it, looks like a 10K set-uP Only looks difficult to get it for manual adjustments Gonna sound way better after the speakers are broken in I’m sure
Bro for the love of god please tel me what you paid for this!!!???? I am scheduled to have a custom box built in two days and I want to show them a video of your car and tell them to replicate this man. Nothing but respect for this amazing build.
Contact Jose, this is his own custom build he did on his car. I have the link to his Instagram ( @soundtune1 ) in the description. Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed the content
You should do more distance shots away from the vehicle because you really could hear the subs drop🚗🔈🔉🔊 the more you stepped away especially when you went to the front of the car!
As far as the build is concerned it is really nice to say the least. One thing that I don't understand is why, IF the sound is being funneled through the ski pass, is there so much trunk rattle? Every bandpass that I have ever heard has had little to no trunk rattle. Not a criticism just trying to understand why the difference. Also, not everyone plays this genre of music so it is difficult to tell whether it will sound good with other music. I do lean towards SQ but I have heard these kinds of boxes that play flat and sound pretty darn musical. Not saying this box but sometimes these boxes can be a "one note wonder"
It's a sealed box in a ported box, best of both worlds. Depending on your music taste? I like 70s jazz and rap. A sealed box let's you hear many more notes than a ported by far
It's all about preference. And what you listen to I listen to a lot of hip hop and r&b mostly old school stuff but like some new gen stuff.. sealed box works great for a lot of different types of music. Ported and bandpass tend to hit really hard on bass notes bandpass box can be really big if you have the room go for it if you don't you can just get a ported or seal box. Equipment definitely matters for the outcome
