He may not recall .. but i once mentioned to kip that kicker should develop a gain match technology on its amp.. this has already been achieved so its not out of kickers abilities.. imop this would be game changer.. most avg people either have no clue or lack of tools to properly set gains . Far less blown subs and customer will receive the best possible safe power .. just an idea. Thanks kicker for everything
Which L7's? We make several models: the L7 Q Class (discontinued but still being sold), the L7S, and the L7T. They all have different power ratings, so we would recommend different amps for each.
What you see is what you get. Why would kicker compete with two companies that’s not even in the same tax bracket as them. Revenue and Product innovation Kicker is it. Those weak companies compete against kicker and look up to kicker just like all these other brands kicker been doing this and the best at it. If kicker wants they can buy out all of your favorite underground brands and discontinue that junk. Keep in mind since 1973 and the still the best in Car Audio period!!!
The big difference is engineering. Most other brands have one or two (at most) engineers to verify the product they ordered was what they delivered. We build gear from the ground up, not order it off the shelf. We have about 50 engineers and 10 labs in-house. If you want to know the difference...there it is.

This is something you should be able to figure out pretty easily. I don't know which model of 12s you have or how they are wired up. Most likely it would be one of their 400, 800 or 1200 watt amps.
Normally we recommend being within 20% of RMS. So if each sub enclosure has a 500 watt RMS for example, we would want an amp with 800-1,200 watt power rating at 2 ohms (wiring the two 4-ohm enclosures in parallel).
@KICKER-AUDIO why did you stop making the round 18 " subwoofer I believe the last model was Kicker comp vr 18 people call it the ghost sub because it's so rare and hits very low frequency
