First time I watched this was back on 2008. Now, it is 2015 and I STILL watch it. Somehow it brings me happiness and joy + it helps me to go along with my life to raise a kid as yours. I am proud of you as a good father not a "bad" as you referred on your comment. Wish you two all the best :)
Absolutely one of the best videos on RU-vid ! I know you get a lot of flack ... But having your son, as a best friend is a blessing ! Be proud of his accomplishments But know that your relationship with him . Has made him what he is...for that be proud of yourself! Great job dad!!
This dad reminds me so much of the man I knew as my “grandpa” on my moms side. He was rich, but loved glamis and had sand rails, quads, dirtbikes, everything. He looked very similar to the man in this video and he spoke like him, very nice but at the same time serious. “You remember how to shift right?” Supportive yet caring. This video makes me almost tear up from the dad and the way the kid is so awesome.
expert on raising other peoples children Here! (dont have any myself yet) kids need to be sheltered and coddled so when they get out into the real world they can tell other people how to raise their children via the youtube comments section
Best Dad EVER!!!! Kudos for pushing your kid like that. Your kid is going to be a champion in whatever he chooses. He has no fear! Frickin' LOVE IT!!!!
My sons only 1 year 5 months I'm rebuilding my vw buggie and building a v6 buggy so we can sis by side like I did growing up by far the best parts of a childhood. great job!
Dang it’s crazy I remember watching this on the first generation iPads being around 6 years old and the video was still a couple years old... being 15 now and seeing it in my feed was awesome and gave me a throwback for sure👍🤙🇺🇸
@CitadelRunner the boy has skills. props to you as a dad for instilling the love for thing like this, its gona keep him on the right path. my dad got me into cars, atvs, sports, etc when i was young and that kept me away from drugs n crime. whatever your doin keep doin it
I was 10 and knew a clutch because of my PARENTS. I knew how to drive a clutch before I could drive a automatic. This kid took it to a different level. More power to dad.
What everyone seems to not realize. Is this is the most important thing a parent can teach his or her children that's is guna b in the sport of riding. Teach them young. Teach them right. Great job. All I can say is WOW. Aweome video.
Cool dad! I was exactly like this kid at his age. I only knew one speed on whatever I ride/drove, full send!! I recall riding a BSA 441 Victor dirt bike when I was the same age as this kid. I couldn’t touch the ground while seated but that didn’t stop me from tearing across an open field at about 70 MPH. The owner of the bike was stunned to say the least.
That is awesome! Give your son a high 5 for me :) It's nice to see a father involving his son in something other than video games! He is going to be one hell of a driver as he gets older!
you are a cool dad! you have given something to your son that no one can ever take away. you have also showing your son the trust you have in him, that goes a very long way to building his character as he gets older. drive on.
@rideredification That kid has such a better father than I ever had. That wheelie makes me proud to be American and even garnered a small tear to my eye! Rock on little dude and mad props to pop!
I got my son into quads when he was 7 years old. But his natural fears would have never let him try a wheelie! Lol. The young man in this video is fearless, he might have a future in racing or in a wheel chair. I hope he sticks to racing! Great video!!
good driving kid! its all about the teacher. and good job dad for teaching your kid how to drive it and have fun. i have a lot of respect towards you both. Anyone hating on him needs to get a life instead of sitting on the computer all day. -true offroader.
my son is only 3 years old and already riding an atv...i really hope he gets some experience cause im buying myself a buggy a bit ahead!!...good video dude!!
@CitadelRunner- i wish my dad was as cool as you first vehicle i drove was a 87 fullsize chevy blazer when i was 8. ive alwayz wanted to drive a sandrail they look like a blast. your son defenitly know what he is doing behind the wheel of that rig!! Awesome vid!!
nice!! and for the haters saying bad parenting how about you look at all the farmers son driving a 50 000 pound machine..skill and trust and good teaching pays off for your kids to have great memories growing up
My dad had me an motorcycle solo when I was 10. One of the best parts of my childhood. This is a great dad. Although I call bs in the beginning lol it’s like an H right?? This kid had done this before. Lol
I watched this 17yrs. Ago when my kid was small. He’s graduating this year. Where you at now kid and what does your rail look like. Please update this video!!!
SOOOOO refreshing to see a vid like this and read all the positive comments! Craig, anyone who would object to this is a massive douche pile. DO NOT let even a single one of the very few negative comments get to you! Your boy will cherish the memories of outings like this for the rest of his life and hopefully he'll make more with his son/daughter! GREAT vid!!
