Anyways, the way coastal wind works is it has more power closer to the ground as it is compressed and travels up hill, the most power being at the top of more vertical slopes. I've been losing altitude while paragliding and was able to remain airborne and even rise again after hugging the hillside. This wing catches air for foiling on water. It is not designed to create lift.
