Kid explained that he and Robin Harris spent alot of time together due to their father-son relationship on camera. Kid offered a few funny stories about Robin Harris. One story involved the late comedian cashing his "House Party" check at the bank where he used to work as a security guard. Kid also revealed that Harris kept a pistol in car before recalling a story about a time him, Harris, Martin Lawrence, Tommy Davidson, and Tommy Ford were all playing basketball before getting into a verbal altercation with another group of guys. Kid said that Harris went to his car and scared the men with his pistol. "Robin took care of us," Kid explained before talking more about his time with Harris and the other "House Party" cast members.

My coworker when I were parking cars at Spagos where Robin Harris had dinner one night. We were both 19 and star struck. Robin asked my friend, "Damn Mofo, what size shoes is those?" My coworker is six foot but had six 17 feet!!. He said "17." Robin Harris said "Damn mofo, what you do for a second job? Kick elephrants with them big ass feet!" He then handed him a 20 (20 bucks as a tip in 1989 was a grip!) and took off. Hahaha.

I loved Harris and Witherspoon! I was a 11yo white kid when my dad introduced me to him, Pryor, Murphy, and Mooney. All the old greats. It didn’t matter, black or white dad. That’s how dad’s acted in that era. That DONT make dad’s like that anymore! It’s a dying breed. You gotta outta line, pops was there to smack you right back in it! Shout out to 70’s and 80’s dad’s!! I think I was there!! I grew up right on the street next to Verdugo Park in burbank. I still have all those guys autographs from when I was a kid, all those guys would always be there Arabian Prince would also ball there. It had to be around 90-93
