www.GameXplain.com Enjoy our playthrough of the final Hades boss battle in chapter 25 of Kid Icarus Uprising for the nintendo 3DS, and stick around for the ending too!
Never have i seen a villain that is so psychotic, so menacing and loathesome, yet so witty, flamboyant and just damn FABULOUS. Hades is just so perfect and awesome!
This game showed that the Kid Icarus IP is a severely underutilized game changer that Nintendo needs to unleash! A remastered upgraded version of Kid Icarus Uprising would be great for the Switch. Even better would be if Nintendo made a sequel to it for the Switch and bundled it with the remastered upgraded port like they did with Bayonetta 1 and 2!!!
Rebel 1 for real. Nintendo is pissing me off with the lack of great games. They'd prefer to keep making Mario games. But when it comes to this, metriod, legend of Zelda, etc. we gotta wait so many years :P
+Faith Simpson I totally agree with you. Nintendo has SOOO many great IPs that they could and should be making content for, but don't for some reason it's crazy!!! I'm hoping that with the Switch joining together the Nintendo's hand-held and home consoles so all their developers can start to focus on making games on 1 console we'll see games like Kid Icarus, Mysterious Murasome Castle( or some kind of epic samurai game featuring Takamaru) and of course Metroid make their returns to the forefront of Nintendo with big new grand games on the Switch!!!
Omega Aesir And for a certain someone who's name sounds like a Train, and starred on a Xenoblade X GameXplain Video,it was the GREATEST VIDEO OF THIS FINAL BOSS OF ALL!!! We all know who I'm talking about right!
Only reason why I came to watch this again tbh. I just watched Gohan kill Cell and i'm comparing it to this. This imo is far better than the moment Gohan killed Cell, only because of the diolauge. The devs did AMAZING with the voices in this game.
If Nintendo is ever willing to let Sakurai out of the SSB-development-basement, that is. I'd go crazy if a sequel was announced, this game poses one of my favorites of all time, despite the horrid control-scheme.
@@Kidicaruslover I think Sakurai said somewhere that he doesn't plan on making a sequel. He's legitimately hoping the series lays dormant for another 25 years (since the games release) so the "novelty" of the game doesn't grow old, or something like that.
Bkool999 Yeah that’s true, tho I think it’s a little weird that Sakurai decided to put new content revolving around the aftermath of Uprising in Palutena’s Guidance. As if that’s not at all suspicious, but that’s just me personally
When 5 years have passed and we STILL haven't heard anything from this game. Welp...I'm starting to give up on Nintendo :P Edit: 6 Edit: 7 Edit: 8 Edit: 9 Edit: 10
I believe this was my first 3DS game I played. It came with like a frame thingy that you can rest the 3ds on, the controls blew my mind because of how great it is
I had this game when I was 9 years old and it was so amazingly good, I think I can say without a doubt that Kid Icarus Uprising is the best 3DS game I've ever played. I just wish I still had my copy of it, I ended up losing it a long time ago a long with some of the other games that I had. This game was a masterpiece.
I haven't played this game yet. Though I do plan on finally getting a 3DS soon. I must say this was quite an ambitious boss battle for a handheld game. Hades has to be one of my favourite Nintendo villains of all time.
You realize this means Pit is technically more durable than Kratos. Kratos was flattened by the hand of the Colossus of Rhodes and it almost killed him with Zeus finishing the job. Here, Pit was flattened by both of Hades' hands and fell Palutena knows how many stories and was still able to get up and keep fighting.
+Mark Cambrone LMFAO, not literally, I'm saying kid icarus isn't violent enough to fight Kratos, but also sense we're making uncanny comparisons, then that means beyonetta would kill pit and his friends, and that would mean that pit could beat death from Dark siders 2..... but then again Death and War did kill a lot of angels.... top ranking angels at that....... hmm
This game has some of the best scenes ever in a Nintendo game! I fully support more Kid Icarus games in this style, but Hades said we won't see another sequel for another 25 years...
This game has such a unique flavor to it. Proof that creativity hasn't been lost from the gaming world quite yet. Also, way to go 3DS hardware! /This/ is the kind of spectacle I've been expecting from a handheld for a long time!
Unless it's all a misunderstanding. He could be doing all those bad things not just because he's evil and that he loves the taste of souls, but for a real reason.
I treat it like a radio show honestly. Though I hated the boss rush and just watched this vid to get the ending. Also hated not being able to afford the most expensive weapons or the one I fused in the last level for a bit. Maybe try star fox 64 3d instead to get less dialogue. They really are quite similar being shooters though this has me lee parts on the ground but annoying narrow areas with pits makes pit a magnet to them. Hated the lack of a jump but a decent game, not worth the price on eBay though.
+That one guy that likes taco bell and plays video games in his spare time If you do not turn of the voice actic in the options than no they never stop talking the entire game and I love every bit of it.
Probably my all time favorite final boss. Engaging gameplay? Check. Multiple phases? Check. A test of the skills you built up throughout the game? Check. Incredible music? Check. A satisfying final bout with an amazing villain? CHECK CHECK CHECK. It’s got it all.
I still love it and i hope another game comes out and i WILL buy it if it's at least as good as this one... i will be surprised if it does because its hard to make another game like this
