Hi, I'm Kim Chan😆 Thank you so much for cheering and leaving comments. I was lucky to meet Odg. I can't forget the impression that I met Treasure. I'll work harder. Keep supporting figure skating and RU-vid. Thank you so much. I love you❤️ I love Treasure 💝
Hearing Yedam tell Chan that she is still really young and that she doesn't need to act grown up yet was so bittersweet for me. I hope he knew (and knows now) that he is also extremely young. He was 18 at the time, barely legal internationally, and yet had gone through so much. He, and many other idols, were forced to grow up too quickly. Nobody should be as wise as they are at their age.
But they do also live like their ages during their daily lives lol You don't have to worry about that. They're growing fast due to their experiences, but that don't mean that they don't do anything normal that fit their ages in their daily lives. They still play around in their dorms, even behind the scenes. They still go out to amusement parks, they still play sports outside, they still play games. The students are still going for their educations like school and all that lol No matter what they do, they still have many times and things they do as normal young people lol So don't worry. Just because you see all these idols be working hard and all that, all of that is what they WANT you to see, they want you to see their lives at work lol They want you to see that they are working hard with their works, but they do have free time and breaks, and daily times as well. I'm sure they have a lot of free and daily times in their lives. They also live through their ages too. However, they just grow fast because of their experiences from trainees to their debut stage, that's all. Also, we should know Treasure by now, they have smart members in the group and they learn it from school too, not only from work. Treasure live themselves in two worlds, especially their middle and maknaes line, which they still go to school and go for their education until they graduate from high school. Even Jihoon probably is going to university right now, maybe Hyunsuk too, but Jaehyuk is a possibility. So yeah, they are living normally outside of their idol world, they still live like normal people. They are just growing fast because they are learning from both worlds.
@@ukiss4ever7 no yes I agree with you, but mostly what I meant is that there are even some idols who say they grew up too quickly and didn’t have a proper childhood (exo’s Kai comes to mind, as well as rv’s yeri), and that they regret becoming trainees so early. Just bc they still go to school doesn’t mean they have a normal life, if that makes sense. They do have normal PARTS in their lives, you’re definitely right about that, but absolutely nobody should be as restrained as idols are, and minors should not have jobs as big as being a kpop idol. Edit: I’m thinking about it now, and the amount of groups I’ve heard say that they don’t have friends outside their members bc they never had time or opportunities to make friends outside of the industry. That’s really sad, isn’t it?
@@mina-vasic Yeah, I get it. I guess, not just "idols", even "artists" like YG Artists and other Artists have to sacrifice some of their childhood lives, and it is sad. But what I appreciate about YG is that they let their trainees and young artists like some of the middle line of Treasure that already graduated from high school like Jaehyuk and Yedam, then we have Doyoung from the maknae line graduated from high school as well, and is probably on his way to university. And the two maknaes line still going to high school about to finish. So I appreciate that YG let their trainees and artists have some normal life. That's the thing about YG, they don't overwork their artists and when they have free time, they can play like normal human beings, unlike other agencies, especially SM and even JYP.
@@ukiss4ever7 i mean OG YG group like Bigbang and 2NE1 had different experience than Treasure. With Bigbang there are a lot of restrictions, they literally went into hardships and practiced hungry. But thanks to them the current trainees lived comfortably. I saw on the YGTB episode that they even have counselors in the company for anyone who had a hard time mentally due to training. Bigbang never even had that. All I'm saying is, yeah it's sad that Yedam trained at a very young age, but that was his dream, and most of them had life. They just chose to spend their youth chasing their dream, which is both amazing and sad, but they weren't restricted to be a kid on their own time. YGE never forced them to be "mature" to get the job done, just to do their utmost best to reach their dreams. Yedam actually missed rehearsals during the final YGTB coz he had exams and when the trainers looked for him, they were understandable and wasn't pissed or annoyed or anything that he missed rehearsals and practice. I mean, i'm not saying that YGE is the best company but i feel like they take care of their artists more than anyone else knowing their company's "reputation" in the kpop world. It's enough to be known as a company full of "cool people doing illegal things", i don't think they want "abusxxx" be added on that.
@@lavpot11040425 You are right. I totally know that too about Big Bang's circumstances before and Treasure's circumstances before as well. I mean, the past were not the best. The ones before Big Bang and 2NE1 definitely were not the best ones as before Big Bang and 2NE1 existed, they didn't have artists who were famous in the states, until Big Bang and 2NE1 , and the 2nd generation idols made overseas. I'm thankful and grateful for the 2nd generation idols overall because they paved the way for younger generations to live better in their work environments. Winner and iKON didn't have counselors helping them in their prime days either, right? So the counseling and the comfortable livings starts with Treasure, right? I'm grateful for the 2nd generation idols, they opened the door to overseas, to make the 3rd and 4th generation idols live and work comfortably now :) And to be honest, the way YG works now, I would say it's better than the past as they don't restrict their artists so much because when time passed by, younger people will be debuting in their company, and as we can see Treasure has members who debuted at ages 15-17 in average, and people at those ages are kids and teenagers. Kids and teenagers have weaker mentality than adults, so I'm actually satisfied that they have more their own counselors to maintain that strong mentality. I hope that Big Bang and Treasure's senior groups provided that too. But I can see why YG Artists have strong mentality altogether, so I guess that means, the company provided counseling for all of their artists, I'm glad about that. Time changes indeed, but in a better way :) Big Bang and 2NE1 truly opened the door for K-Pop to be spread and become better. If YG have Big Bang as the ones who opened the door for K-Pop and hip-hop, then Treasure is the door for a new beginning for YG as they've become the bridge between netizens and YG.
Coming here again and confirmed that Chan was the first victim of Doyoungs" be my be my be my girl", and it worked! The way Chan is fangirling over Dobby now is so me😄.
omg for real tho. it got to the point where i like my favorite kpop idols coming to america by i hate then having interviews because all of them sound like fools. i only like james corden and ellie lee
Not only that but all 13 of them, including the boys and Kim, will have this memory of the day they realized they are not alone and their lives will parallel each other’s in the journey of accomplishing their dreams a performers and figure skater. More so since they’re within the same age range.
She is a fan after meeting them on ODG. she posted a reaction video for ILY mv. And also unboxing chap2 albums!! She’s really cute and bubbly there, a different side to what she is here. I’m shocked.
OMG! I just realise that the girl is the first and only fan to see LIVE of Treasure's performance face-to-face! Usually, all Treasure's performance had been pre-recorded and the fans had always been seperated throughout their performance due to COVID-19. This girl is so lucky!
Okay, but when Yedam (9:30) said that she shouldn't act all so grown up because she's still young, that she is allowed to ask for what she wants, and that she can still live as the kid that she is right now, really had me because as a teen, no one really told me that and so I ended up shouldering my worries alone and forgot that I should've tried to rely on adults for those and tried my best to live as a kid. Now that I'm at the beginning of my adulthood, I realize just how strong those words are even if they sounded so brief and simple. That's really beautiful, Bang Yedam.
I almost cried when Yedam gave advice to Chan about being able to be a child because he probably needed to hear those words growing up in the spotlight
The fact that dobby became her bias and repeatedly said that he is so handsome till now proved that dobby instantly caught her eyes while performing in here. Main dancer charms indeed
When Junghwan talked it really came from his heart. This kid doesn't talk too much but I guess he can really relate to the girl's experience. He is so amazing as such a young age.
He certainly is not just an idol! being a trainee at such a young age and endured 10years or training! Earning the respect from his peers! He is god ye dam for a reason
“when u were trainees, how difficult was it?” *sees jihoon sigh deeply* me: * immediately starts bawling my eyes out as yg treasure box replays in my head*
i can’t believe yg is letting them do all these things. I STAN edit: y’all the whole talk about who the CEO really is and yatta yatta yatta doesn’t really matter. the topic all falls under YG so i’m happy wether it’s yang hyun suk or not that YG is staring to promote their artists better and giving them more frequent comebacks. putting them on multiple platforms such as small channels, big varieties shows, and more music shows will help them gain popularity bc those showcase their personality and talent which attracts fans.
Letting your talent appears in like entertainment channel(even small or big yt channel) can help them to promote themeselves or their group internationally, since youtube is the easiest access of most of the population now.
why kimchan is luckiest girl ever : 1) treasure's first ever live audience after debut 2)talking face to face with treasure (and got good advices) 3)being remembered by treasure members 4)she's famous now zzhahahhaa
We all know Junghwan is a shy boy. He doesn't have a lot of confidence and I felt that when he tried to answer the girl. Even the older members looked at him shocked. But still Junghwan talked about his experiences as a kid just cheer the girl up. His words really came out from his heart. He is a genuine precious kid who keeps growing beautifully each day.
Yedam’s final words- I feel like it’s the present Yedam talking to his younger self. I wanna hug Yedamie for growing up well. He sounds so mature for such a young age.
Yedam said hit differently now. It makes me think that when he is alone he reflect and think what he really wants to do. Yedamie, I accept now that you will leave the group.comeback stronger and happier our producer yedam. Mashi please be healthy. Treasure dont worry, I will be here for you. Praying for your success.
I cried when yedam said you're still a child you don't have to act like a grown up. You don't understand how much I wanted to hear those words even though they weren't directed towards me.
Sometimes I really wish I could go back in live my life and have all the fun I wanted to have instead of always stressing about college and what I’ll be and studying to death. But back then kpop was the only thing that kept alive. It was literally the source of happiness for me lol sort of like an escape from reality
Listening to Yedam's comments after the announcement makes you wonder about what he was going through. It paints a new light. I truly hope both he and Mashiho are happy and able to do whatever they set their mind to in their new lives
@@samrosales4282 hmmmm idk about that maybe in Korea girls grow slow in my country we girls grow fast esp when ur gonna turn to 11 or 12 yrs old maybe that girl already grown but junghwan grows more which is how it really is because when i was 12 and below i am more taller than boys in my age that i know that time but when i turned 13 they are really taller than me now which really shocked me
@@trina160 WAIT SHE'S 07 LINER?? WOAHHHH WE HAVE THE SAME AGE BUT WHY DOES SHE LOOKS SO PRETTY AND I'M HERE LOOKING LIKE POTATO WHAHAHAHAHA I STAN HER SHE'S SO CUTE AND SHE'S SO GOOODDDDD AND OH WE HAVE THE SAME BIASSSS 😭😭😭 I WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH HERRRR but that will never happen :(( sadt (sorry for the caps and english hihihi)
Yedam words and maturity always surprise me because we're the same age but he's already has that adult mindset. He'll always be one of few person that i look up to🥺
The fact that Junghwan is confident talking to a girl near his age is such a big change.. Yoshi sharing his experience is also inspiring.. Maybe some of them had a hard time sharing their insights because it will make them emotional.
I've watched this 3 year before without knowing that they'll be my favourite K-pop group 3years later, I feel a bit sad that i didn't stan treasure more early, btw i become teume since Kingkong era. Love and support them💎💎
I know right. They don't sugar coat, everything is just raw and real. Every emotions that the trainees felt was true and i feel bad for them but at the same time proud because they became stronger.
@@hiraya_roan totally agree! watching YG survival shows until the groups finally managed to debut are basically like watching them growing up. damn the sentimental value is heavy :'(
@@marielena7010 indeed, especially nowadays... not only the competition within kpop industry is very high, but the kpop fans nowadays also are really on a whole other level.. if u know what i mean :(
Kim Chan now has thousands of unnies and oppas* around the world cheering for her. Edit. I initially typed unnies and noonas. Noona is for a young boy referring to an older woman.
@Rara well i mean if you were in Korea and can't speak Korean very well, you could still use the terms IN THE CORRECT WAY AND NOT LIKE SOME CRAZY PEOPLE WHO CALL EVERY SINGLE BOY OPPA yes
I can already tell this is going to be the cutest interaction ever I don't even know TREASURE that well, but from what I've seen they are SUCH sweethearts
everyone is talking about treasure but honesty she is such a strong person, she had so many worries she kept to herself but she never gave up. Imagine how difficult it must have been for her, i really hope what our boys said really did help her, i hope it got some stress off of her :')
True! When I saw her eyes it's full of sadness even though she's smiling , but when she saw the performance it brighten a little bit though she still have pain inside. I know because I can see it in her eyes! But she's very strong to handle her sadness and loneliness inside.
Most noticeable smiles in the entire dance performance. They're so sweet! Mashiho 5:46 Yoshi 6:11 Junkyu 6:15 Ruto 6:23 Hyunsuk 6:44 Junghwan 7:04 Dobby 7:23 Ye Dam 7:40
when yedam talked about how she was still young and asked her to live her childhood happily as the kid she was rn i realized that was something he never really got to do. when i tell you i sobbed
imagine in the future she becomes a well-known figure skater and Treasure members (now a big boyband) go to cheer for her performance 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 and they’re like so proud n stuff aww i hope the best for both of them
I would like to think that one day she’s gonna compete in an Olympic and Treasure will be chosen as a performer in that event. Then they can meet each other again, being successful in their own career and looking back to the day they’re all started and cheering for each other. That would be a wonderful day.
Yedam's wise words to Kim Chan, telling her she can act her age. I want to say the same to our maknae line, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo and Junghwan, you can act your age too. They're always so mature and strong, people forget they are also just babies, only 1 or 2 years older than Kim Chan. When Yoshi talk about him passing the test, I'm so happy for him, but then I think about the other Japanese members, Haruto should still be in school but he's not :(
@@goinbulilit3846 Yes stage is where he shines the brightest, I just hope YG can figure out a way to let the Jline go to Korean school too so that they still get their education and degree
@@ryuuringo it's really up to them(Japanese lines) because, YG is open especially with YG ent. Madam CEO Hwang Bokyung. Yoshi is just thinking alot of responsibility since he is the only BOY in his family it's the reason why he works triple hard.
Yea 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 i like this 😻,....... I wanted YG to be like this with my 2NE1 🔥girls ,but now it can't be done so keep it up with BIGBANG ❤️Blackpink, IKON, WINNER and AKMU✨
Yedam telling her not to lose her childhood to chasing her dreams makes me cry so hard cause he has been in the spotlight at a very young age and he could relate to it especially
This show really made me realize that idols, athletes or whatever profession you have will have different stories of struggles, regardless of age, upbringing or race and the common ground is survival.
Yoshi’s advice made me cry. The fact that his dad passed away so early in his life and he was the man of the house looking after his mom and sisters up until he moved to Korea to become a YG trainee. These boys worked so hard for years and they never gave up on their dream. YG is so lucky to have these 12 guys. *Treasure deserves the world!* 🥺💙
I lost it the moment they let out a sigh when they we're asked how difficult it was for them being a trainee. That sigh already explained everything. Non-Teumes will never understand how these boys fought for their dreams. It was hell of a rollercoaster ride. I've been a fan of them since day 1 and you won't believe how many times I cried seeing them struggle. 😢 Their debut itself is already an achievement. We literally waited for these boys everyday since 2018 without the assurance that they will debut. Now we love each and everyone of them so so much. Whatever haters say about them will mean nothing because we've been through hell.
Hey, nice to meet you again! But yeah, it was so difficult for them. Even us their fans cry sometimes 'cause of their hard work and we feel their difficulties but they are the one who actually do it might feel even harder and i think they're crying more than us but these boys are so strong and i feel like a proud friends of them, and seeing them like this made me want to support them more and more as hard as i can. Let us protect these precious boys together!
we all cried because of a pretty girl named chan, i hope she'll be a successful figure skater. i hope to see her on tv in winter olympics. I'm sobbing because Treasure went to struggles. And they weren't the only ones who's still in tears because they already debuted after years of waiting. Also the Teumes like me who waited and never got tired of waiting. 😩👌🏻
please i hope more people will encounter this clip. please have a dream and hold on to it. even if you dont have a dream dare to dream. dream is a hope. and one day if you have to give up your dream at least you have give your best you move forward with the less regret. regret when you have done your best vs regret when you wish you had done something is different. so dream. and whatever it is, move forward. dont give up. dont give up. it’ll be ok. it will be fine. something good will happen too.
came back here coz she just revealed her bias is Doyoung... at this time she doesn't know any of them :D Its nice to look back how she became a fan too
YG is getting better promoting our Treasure boys. I love the idea that they go beyond the typical rookie group promotion. Who would have thought we will see Treasure on this channel. People will get curious who they are, they would know how young the members are and they would know how experiences molded them to who they are now. They’re all good at giving life lessons because they’ve gone though a lot.
For me who followed this group from Yedam's KpopStar, Mixnine, Straykids survival show, YG Treasure Box, Treasure Map. I can't help but tear up right from the very first question. This is so emotional and I am so happy to be there right from when they started. I was not able to do this with Bigbang and I always thought I won't be able to support another group aside from Bigbang but Treasure hits differently. They're like my younger siblings that I m very fond of and watching them grow up and bloom in front of my eyes is just so precious. T.T It breaks my heart when people say Treasure had it easy, they're instantly popular because they're from YG or Blackpink paid for their debut. You.have.no.idea.what.you're.talking.about. They waited so long, They worked hard, They lost their Friends/Bestfriends in the process, They are apart from their family. They are very young. Please stop hurting them with your words. You can like the groups you like without putting another group down.
I can relate to you. Whenever I see them tear up, i also can't stop myself from crying. I see them as my little brothers who needs to be protected and loved.
I’m like the girl sitting on the chair looking at them because I don’t know treasure or haven’t heard their debut song, because I’ve been a odg watcher since last 2 years and I was just watching this vid and wow their debut track is so so nice, even the choreography and their energy, you can really see that they practiced so hard!! The boys really worked hard and really really deserved to debut ^_^
@@nuriirai666 they didn't mean that they are the odg girl, but that they had the same reaction/experience through watching this video because they've never heard or seen treasure before
Kim Chan: How difficult was it? and then they showed Jihoon's face (we know what happened right?😭), then followed by Hyunsuk, and then Junghwan which made me so proud of our baby bc he voiced out his thoughts and experience w/o hesitation, and then there's Yoshi and Yedam's powerful advice😭 It makes me so emotional to see their faces while being asked by those questions bc we know they had it tough😭😭😭😭 TREASURE we can't wait to see u dominate the world, for now let's do it slowly and enjoy each moment❤
Jigging the one with pink hair had a difficult road as a trainee. He was a YG trainee for a few years and then the company let him go because they weren’t satisfied with his growth. He was eventually brought back to participate in YGs survival show as a sort of last opportunity. He then failed to make the original 7 member lineup but was later put into an additional group YG formed after the show. All the boys are now together as one 12 member group but Jihoons story/road to debut just highlights how these boys did not have it easy. They struggled for years to reach this point. I hope people can love and appreciate all of them because they really are kind, humble and talented young men.
Yeah, thats our maknae. But if you watch their tmap, he almost cried talking to a fangirl. And its a relief that his giving advice to 1 year younger than him. Uri Super king cow baby.
